The hostess was extremely friendly, gave us totally helpful tips for the area and was always available. We felt super comfortable! The apartment looked like the pictures and the view from the balcony was phenomenal!! Always happy to meet you again :)

After a difficult arrival due to a flood and bike race in Como which had stopped the buses , Maria’s husband Paolo gave us a lift to the apartment as he was in Como and even stopped at the supermarket for us. We were extremely grateful and he was a very nice man. We stayed for 7 days in this beautiful apartment. The view was simply stunning and the apartment perfect. Maria had left a welcome bottle of Prosecco and some biscuits. We got the ferry to Bellagio one day and hired a boat for 4 hours which was absolutely fantastic. Maria was very fast and helpful in her responses. The public transport is not so good and we spent alot of time waiting for buses. Without a car and on a steep hill with alot of rain did make a few days a bit tricky but when the sun is out it is beautiful. If you need a taxi to Milan airport we recommend booking with. Airports Taxi Transfers. It cost about 170 euros and they were exceptional, also about 100 euros cheaper than local taxis.

Leon’s place is absolutely beautiful up in the hill side above lake como. Nestled in a smaller community it gives a sense of cabin in the hills. The road up from the bus station is definitely not for the faint of heart if you’re going to walk but is doable. The space itself is so nice, clean and comfortable and was designed with every need in mind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back and visit anytime
