Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria

idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. in winter it can get cold in the house, even if the sun laughs in the morning surrounded by lemon trees. We've always had power outages. It was worth a trip. 🍋🌞🍊

Incredible serene oasis. Antonio brought us eggs, fresh strawberries, and citrus galore, making sure we felt right at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Filippo’s home I Scilla is perfectly located atop the very middle of the town between the beach side and fishing village side- with the upper part just above you. It’s a bit of a climb, but this allows a gorgeous view of the sea and coastline below. You are also close to everything you could want to do. There is a lovely balcony outside the door, which that view, and is perfect for taking a break with coffee or a drink in the afternoon or evening. The bathroom is very nice and modern. Main bedroom is nice and big with a comfy bed. The kitchen is medium sized, with enough space to cook if you want to. The town was a real favorite for us. We spent 2 days at the beach at our favorite lido- so easy and relaxing. The fishing village has some real gems, including a natural wine bar with the friendliest owner and a wine/food bar next door to the natural one, that was absolutely delicious. There are many restaurants with dining areas literally on the water, which was very different and fun

We stayed on this space for 3 days. Was super clean. Giovanna showed us everything at check-in. We were in Scilla or on the ferry in Sicily within 10 minutes. If you walked down the street, you were right by the sea and could look over to Sicily. The only minor thing that bothered us was the motorists. The house is located on a curve, i.e. here you can lift from any direction. Especially in the morning from 8:00 am it was quite annoying, at the other times it had not bothered us. I recommend the place for a trip to Scilla or to come to Sicily.

Concettas's house is more than just a place to stay, it's an experience! Nicola showed us around and pointed out interesting aspects of the home. From the huge, old, front door key, to the stair-well trap door to great extra space, it was a great way to arrive. It's old, but well-restored, quaint, cosy and unique. The outside terrace is great for having meals and just for sitting, absorbing the sounds. Concetta and Nicola are great hosts - very friendly and Concetta gave us recommendations of restuarants and places to visit. We loved it and were sad to leave.

We really enjoyed our stop in this village and this authentic house. Our host's father-in-law guided us on foot through the alleys to discover the peculiarities and history of this place. It was really interesting and caring. The house has a very large terrace with exceptional views of the Ionian Sea. It's a pleasure to have breakfast there. Pharmacy, doctor, grocery store, restaurants, bars, local services are present. Everything you need to have a good time with a host, Francesco is very responsive to your requests. Recommended!

Lovely modern apartment that is up on the hill. Well equipped. A lot of noise from the traffic outside - on a junction.

It was just beautiful! Everything lovingly furnished, we felt like we were in a small castle. Location was perfect, the city center and beach were very close. We felt very comfortable!

We had a perfect stay! The accommodation was exactly as described: clean, cozy and well located. The real added value was Stefano: an exceptional host, always available, very kind and better than a tour guide! He gave us valuable advice on what to see, where to eat and how to get around, making us feel at home from the first moment. An experience we recommend without hesitation, we would gladly return!

Antonio was a super friendly host, always responds for our messages, he gave us some recommendations and what's fantastic offers fantastic homemade products! the place is located in walking distance from the beach which is super quiet and wide. We've got everything we need over there. planty of parking space on fhe street. highly recommend for long and short stay 😉

Liked the place in the middle of the village. Good free parking just around the corner. Well appointed apartment, even had an iron with an ironing board. Little lovely touches here and there.

Our stay at Elisabetta’s place was great! The apartment is well located in centre of Reggio Calabria, 15 min walk away from sea and 5 min from train station. The place was clean, with a lot of space (3 rooms!). Elisabetta was very responsive and friendly. She helped us in emergency situation and shared tips about our stay and city. We will be happy to book her apartment once we are again in Reggio Calabria. Do I recommend? Totally!!!

Apartment as described in a nice village in the hinterland. Very well equipped and Giorgia is very generous. We were greeted with plenty of local products available. The neighbors are very nice. Everything was perfect. we recommend this place away from the noise of the city.

Only stayed for one night while travelling which was a shame as I would have liked to stay longer. very good location and a really good apartment, better than the photos. Friendly host as well

Maria's place is in the "newer" part of Scilla, but just a short walk to the Piazza and statue of Scilla, where you can decide to head left down to the beach, straight ahead to the castle, or to the right to the old fishing village. Those are all just a few minutes walk, making Maria's place very conveniently located. There is plenty of street parking, and a couple of grocery stores are nearby. The home is comfortable with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, and the beds are comfortable. Maria is a great host and met us for check-in and communicated really well. If you're visiting Scilla overnight, this is a great place to make as your home base.

Beautiful to sleep with the sounds of the sea. Everything you need. Carlo was friendly and responsive. Nothing more to say :)

Five relaxing days; good starting point for activities also in the hinterland; sunset is spectacularly different every evening. Most of the time, you don't even see the landlord anymore; with Franco, it's different: he receives his guests personally, explains everything, answers questions - very pleasant!

Very homely, like walking into someone’s home! Lots of added extras. Lovely clean linen and towels…. Amazing balcony to spend lazy days and watch the sunset over the mountains…. Close proximity to town.

We had a fantastic stay at Magdalena’s place. The location was perfect for my mum who can not walk so far . Anytime we contacted Magdalena she responded instantly and was really friendly . Loved the place and felt it was excellent value for money. Definitely will be back .
