Vacation rentals with a patio in Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria

We stayed at a few places in Italy this summer, coming from Rome to Napoli and finally Fabio's place in the South. I have to say this was my favourite stay. The place is very private, easy to access, close to other local beaches if you have a car. Fabio's dad was so welcoming, made us feel right at home. The house has all the amenities needed and is clean and easy to maintain. This is a fantastic place if you have children. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

We had a lovely stay in this lovely apartment surrounded by olive trees. The place is spacious and cozy, with two comfortable bedrooms, a large kitchen, and a perfect living room to relax. We really enjoyed the veranda, ideal for enjoying moments of tranquility in the middle of nature. The welcome was impeccable: the owners and their families were always available (they even allowed us to check in early) and upon our arrival they made us find a delicious homemade donut, perfect for breakfast. The setting, immersed in the olive trees, is really relaxing and has made our vacation special. Looking forward to coming back and having this wonderful experience again!

The apartment is in a beautiful location in front of the Duomo. Super clean and comfortable. The restaurant on the corner played dance music until 2:00 am on Saturday, but the bedroom is in the back of the building and blocked out 90% of the sound. We had a great stay and would definitely return and recommend. Thank you for a wonderful time in Reggio Calabria.

Fantastic place for our family of four to stay for a few days in Bagnara. Host was always very responsive for any questions and very helpful. Lovely views of the beach and sea - and short walk into town to enjoy restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. We can strongly recommend this property.

The apartment is brand new, modern and cared for in every detail. Every comfort is assured: air conditioners in all rooms, a dream-equipped kitchen, two impeccable bathrooms, a washing machine, a dryer, and even a charming private garden where you can relax. The hosts, Diego and Antonella, are extraordinary: kind, helpful and always attentive to every need. Their hospitality makes this apartment even more special. Don't look elsewhere! This was our first trip to Italy, and we have never regretted choosing Reggio Calabria to spend our time. The owners Erica and Giupetto are the sweetest and nicest people you could meet in this heavenly place. The apartment turned out to be better than in the photo, everything was decorated with taste, cleanliness, all possible amenities. Opening your eyes in the morning you see a divine view of the sea, without even noticing where the water ends and the sky begins. This place is a real paradise on earth! We fell in love with this place and are very grateful to the owners for the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Bova Marina. We’ll be back soon again, I dream💕 I recommend it absolutely 100000%.

Host Antonio is always courteous from the first contact. Maximum availability for both check-in and check-out. The accommodation was largely in line with expectations, i.e. comfortable, spacious, clean, tastefully furnished and located in a quiet area with the possibility of parking in front of the house. A very positive experience, we will definitely return and recommend it.

A beautiful house with great pool and a very nice view of the mountain and sea. Kitchen is super equipped. Using the coordinates and Googlemaps provided by Monica, we easily found the house. We arrived at night and the ride by car to the residential complex where the house is located was a bit adventurous as it rained the days before and also on our arrival and the surroundings were very dark. But everything worked out Communication with Monica was flawless and she was very helpful. Supermarket and restaurants are easily accessible by car within about 15 minutes. We enjoyed it, despite some bad luck with the weather. But after 3 days of rain, the weather became nicer and we were able to explore Calabria. We would come back.

It was a truly excellent stay, certainly thanks to the excellent climate that made us enjoy the house and this stretch of beautiful Calabrian Ionian coast even more. The villa was handed over to us by Luigi personally, who was very courteous in giving us all the information and advice. Minimal and well-kept environments, in excellent cleanliness. I highly recommend it for families and also for groups of friends who want to stay in a quiet place, a stone's throw from the sea and with beautiful surrounding landscapes to discover.

Lovely house with privacy at the beach. We were with 8 adults and that was very easy to do with the incredibly helpful co-host Andrea.

By far the favorite accommodation of our 3-week trip through Italy. The place is huge and extremely comfortable for our 6 person group - 3 adults and 3 children. With a fully gated private yard, our car was secure and kids safe playing without supervision. Panoramic views of Sicily and nearby beaches, hikes and town of Scilla made this location much better than expected. We prepared ourselves two home cooked meals and was the perfect opportunity to recharge after being on the go. The hosts greeted us with such a warm and energetic welcome. We could have easily stayed for much longer and explored the local area more. Thank you!!

Villa Ulivo was a nice surprise for us! Small house but with everything and more! Great garden, washing machine and dishwasher. The best part was having AC in the rooms, then the possibility of fresh vegetables from Enrico's father's garden. And finally, the company of 2 nice dogs. A place worth checking out.

We're long time visitors to Italy but this was our first time in Calabria and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay than Casa San Rocco in lovely Guardavalle. Susan was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had during booking, like how to get there from the airport! She's fluent in Italian too so can help with anything in advance of you arriving and also has some local people on hand to assist with any enquiries during your stay, restaurants etc. Talking of which the local food is amazing, make sure you stop by the nearby bakery - "Pina's" and check out her delicious breads & cakes as well as the restaurant underneath. Apartment is super well appointed, great kitchen with all mod cons and lovely view of the valley, generous sized bedrooms with balconies and best of all the lovely big roof terrace with seating and a pergola for shade, could sit up there all day, drink in hand enjoying the view while the swifts fly around your head! A great accommodation for those like us who wanted to spend a few days in Torre Faro, one of the most evocative places on the Messina coast, on the northeast tip of Sicily . A new apartment, very clean and equipped with all the comforts, a short walk from the sea. Great hospitality from the hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alba's place. it's in the heart of torre faro, walking distance from the beach and surrounded by restaurants. All the doors and windows had mosquito nets, which kept the bugs at bay. We especially enjoyed the garden and the cool breeze. Shame we were only there for two nights.

Very comfortable and clean fully equipped apartment. Very accessible for my family of 4. Convenient location to entire area and highways. Close to a supermarket. The air conditioner was a big plus as it is not typical for the area. Plus as an added bonus there is a small clothes washer. I highly recommend — particularly for families.

Arriving in the village was already special due to the ride up. The driveway takes about 10 minutes and gives a first impression of the view. A small mountain village with lots of charm and very friendly people. There is a pizzeria and also a small shop. The place is a very clean. We felt right at home there. It is so idyllic and prepared with a lot of love. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to be Stefania and her family are very accommodating and intrusive. We will be happy to come back...

What a beautiful space that makes you feel like you are home. The decorations are simple and nice. This apartment has two bedrooms that are spaced apart from a kitchen. Makes you feel like you are in two separate sections of a house. It is spacious and roomie. We were a group for 4. My parents, my nephew, and I fit comfortably and was never in each other’s way. The bedroom with the jacuzzi was huge. The jacuzzi was also a nice touch. For these hot summer nights to come “home” and just relax was an addition to our vacation. The bathroom was stocked up with a first aid kit, shampoo, conditioner, The kitchen also was fully stocked. They also had little surprises of water, crackers and little jams, tea, and coffee. 2nd bedroom had a queen size bed. The bedroom leads you to the patio. It had a table and 4 chairs and a little BBq. The patio has a cover so the sun doesn’t melt you in the middle of the day :) The common area has a washer and another stove that can be used. Now the guests!!!! They made us feel like family. Lucia, her father and her mother were so hospitable. They were easy to communicate with. They gave recommendations. You leave feeling like you are family. I just wish I was able to pick up Lucia’s family and her home to all the places I wanted to visit in Italy. Unfortunately, that is impossible. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Simple beautiful and homie. Please take care of there space if you decide to stay!

We had a really good time! Silvana is very kind and generous, an exceptional guest. The apartment is very nice, well equipped and perfect for 6 people who love tranquility. The two terraces are beautiful and well located for sun/shade exposure and both with a beautiful view of the citrus groves and the sea. You can easily access the sand and gravel beach with crystal clear sea, very quiet even in August. It's a really relaxing place to get away. We really liked it. Thank you Silvana! We hope to be back soon.

Giuseppe came in person to welcome us. His apartment was recently renovated, so everything is in great condition and perfectly matches the expectations that one makes when looking at the site, in fact it is better with the undisclosed precautions, such as mosquito nets at all windows, which do not spoil in August. The house is still being embellished, in a quiet and reserved setting, but minutes from both Nicotera and Nicotera Marina. Truly a nice experience, perfect for discovering its beautiful land. Highly recommended!
