Vacation rentals with a patio in Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria

We stayed at a few places in Italy this summer, coming from Rome to Napoli and finally Fabio's place in the South. I have to say this was my favourite stay. The place is very private, easy to access, close to other local beaches if you have a car. Fabio's dad was so welcoming, made us feel right at home. The house has all the amenities needed and is clean and easy to maintain. This is a fantastic place if you have children. Hopefully we will be back 🙂

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno incantevole in questo delizioso appartamento immerso tra gli ulivi. L'alloggio è spazioso e accogliente, con due camere da letto confortevoli, un'ampia cucina e un soggiorno perfetto per rilassarsi. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la veranda, ideale per godersi momenti di tranquillità in mezzo alla natura. L'accoglienza è stata impeccabile: i proprietari e le loro famiglie sono sempre stati disponibili (ci hanno persino permesso di anticipare il check-in) e al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare un delizioso ciambellone fatto in casa, perfetto per la colazione. Il contesto, immerso tra gli ulivi, è davvero rilassante e ha reso la nostra vacanza speciale. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare e vivere nuovamente questa meravigliosa esperienza!

The apartment is in a beautiful location in front of the Duomo. Super clean and comfortable. The restaurant on the corner played dance music until 2:00 am on Saturday, but the bedroom is in the back of the building and blocked out 90% of the sound. We had a great stay and would definitely return and recommend. Thank you for a wonderful time in Reggio Calabria.

Newly renovated, beautiful and fully stocked apartment. Close to the Port if you want to take the Ferry to Sicily.

Ottima location, non posso aggiungere altra, raggiungibile in pochi minuti da Reggio Calbria. Alloggio spazioso, curato, luminoso e ben diposto. Per essere un appoggio al mare per una famiglia di 4 persone va molto bene. Il tramonto sulle Eolie è spettacolare. Mate é veramente molto cortese e disponibile, anche se è a migliaia di Km di distanza. Sicuramente, Mate ci sentirà di nuovo per le nostre prossime vacanze da quelle parti.

Un soggiorno perfetto! Questo appartamento nel cuore di Reggio Calabria è un autentico gioiello. La posizione è semplicemente imbattibile: centralissima, vicina a tutti i punti di interesse principali. L’appartamento è nuovissimo, moderno e curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Ogni comfort è assicurato: condizionatori in tutte le stanze, una cucina attrezzata da sogno, due bagni impeccabili, lavatrice, asciugatrice e persino un incantevole giardino privato dove rilassarsi. Gli host, Diego e Antonella, sono straordinari: gentili, disponibili e sempre attenti a ogni esigenza. La loro ospitalità rende questo appartamento ancora più speciale. Non cercate altrove! Se state pianificando un soggiorno a Reggio Calabria, questo è il posto perfetto. Meriterebbe molto più delle 5 stelle! Non vedo l’ora di tornare

Host Antonio sempre cortese già dal primo contatto. Massima disponibilità sia per il check in, sia per il check out. L'alloggio è stato ampiamente corrispondente alle aspettative, ovvero comodo, spazioso, pulito, arredato con gusto e ubicato in zona tranquilla con possibilità di parcheggio davanti l'abitazione. Esperienza ampiamente positiva, ci ritorneremo sicuramente e da consigliare.

O espaço é muito bom. A localização excelente. No centro, perto da ferroviária e da praça principal do duomp. Perto tb da beira mar. Fomos muito bem recebidos.

Ein schönes Haus mit tollem Pool und einem sehr schönen Blick auf die Berge und das Meer. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Mithilfe der von Monica übermittelten Koordinaten und Googlemaps haben wir das Haus leicht gefunden. Wir kamen in der Nacht an und die Fahrt mit dem Auto zur Wohnanlage, in der sich das Haus befindet, war etwas abenteuerlich, da es die Tage vorher und auch bei unserer Ankunft regnete und die Umgebung sehr dunkel war. Hat aber alles geklappt. Die Kommunikation mit Monica war einwandfrei und sie war sehr hilfsbereit. Supermarkt und Restaurants sind mit Auto innerhalb von ca. 15 minuten gut zu erreichen. Uns hat es gut gefallen, trotz etwas Pech mit dem Wetter. Aber nach 3 Tagen regnen wurde das Wetter schöner und wor konnten Kalabrien erkunden. Wir würden wiederkommen.

My friend and I are backpacking through Europe right now and staying with Francesca was one of the most pleasant stays I have ever had in an Airbnb. The hospitality from our host was unmatched, and allowed for an incredible stay. Roccella Jonica is beautiful and this house is perfectly located to access the public beach and a close walk to many restaurants in town. The figs and tomatoes from their garden were also delicious. If I come back to Roccella Jonica I would not hesitate to book here again.

Heerlijk huis met privacy aan het strand. Wij waren met 8 volwassene en dat was heel goed te doenm Ontzettend behulpzame co-host Andrea.

Villa Ulivo è stata per noi una bella sorpresa! Casa piccola ma con tutto e di più! Ottimo il giardino, la lavatrice e anche la lavastoviglie. Il top è stato avere AC nelle stanze, poi la possibilità di verdure freschissime dall'orto del padre di Enrico. E infine la compagnia di 2 simpatici cagnolini. Un posto che vale la pena di andare.

By far the favorite accommodation of our 3-week trip through Italy. The place is huge and extremely comfortable for our 6 person group - 3 adults and 3 children. With a fully gated private yard, our car was secure and kids safe playing without supervision. Panoramic views of Sicily and nearby beaches, hikes and town of Scilla made this location much better than expected. We prepared ourselves two home cooked meals and was the perfect opportunity to recharge after being on the go. The hosts greeted us with such a warm and energetic welcome. We could have easily stayed for much longer and explored the local area more. Thank you!!

We're long time visitors to Italy but this was our first time in Calabria and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay than Casa San Rocco in lovely Guardavalle. Susan was friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had during booking, like how to get there from the airport! She's fluent in Italian too so can help with anything in advance of you arriving and also has some local people on hand to assist with any enquiries during your stay, restaurants etc. Talking of which the local food is amazing, make sure you stop by the nearby bakery - "Pina's" and check out her delicious breads & cakes as well as the restaurant underneath. Apartment is super well appointed, great kitchen with all mod cons and lovely view of the valley, generous sized bedrooms with balconies and best of all the lovely big roof terrace with seating and a pergola for shade, could sit up there all day, drink in hand enjoying the view while the swifts fly around your head! Buone vacanze & Grazie Susan!!

Un’ottima sistemazione per chi come noi voleva passare qualche giorno a Torre Faro, uno dei posti più suggestivi della costa messinese, sulla punta nord orientale della Sicilia . Un appartamentino nuovo, molto pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort, a pochi passi dal mare . Ottima l’ospitalità dei padroni di casa.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alba's place. it's in the heart of torre faro, walking distance from the beach and surrounded by restaurants. All the doors and windows had mosquito nets, which kept the bugs at bay. We especially enjoyed the garden and the cool breeze. Shame we were only there for two nights.

Very comfortable and clean fully equipped apartment. Very accessible for my family of 4. Convenient location to entire area and highways. Close to a supermarket. The air conditioner was a big plus as it is not typical for the area. Plus as an added bonus there is a small clothes washer. I highly recommend — particularly for families.

Die Ankunft im Dorf war aufgrund der Fahrt nach oben bereits besonders. Die Auffahrt dauert ca 10min. und vermittelt einen ersten Eindruck über die Aussicht. Ein kleines Bergdorf mit viel Charm und sehr freundlichen Menschen. Es gibt eine Pizzeria und auch einen kleinen Einkaufsladen. Die Unterkunft ist ein sehr sauber. Wir haben uns dort sofort wohl gefühlt. Es ist so idyllisch und mit viel Liebe hergerichtet. Wer Ruhe mag ist hier genau richtig. Stefania und ihre Familie sind sehr zuvorkommend und das auf eine um aufdringliche Art. Wir kommen gerne wieder….

What a beautiful space that makes you feel like you are home. The decorations are simple and nice. This apartment has two bedrooms that are spaced apart from a kitchen. Makes you feel like you are in two separate sections of a house. It is spacious and roomie. We were a group for 4. My parents, my nephew, and I fit comfortably and was never in each other’s way. The bedroom with the jacuzzi was huge. The jacuzzi was also a nice touch. For these hot summer nights to come “home” and just relax was an addition to our vacation. The bathroom was stocked up with a first aid kit, shampoo, conditioner, The kitchen also was fully stocked. They also had little surprises of water, crackers and little jams, tea, and coffee. 2nd bedroom had a queen size bed. The bedroom leads you to the patio. It had a table and 4 chairs and a little BBq. The patio has a cover so the sun doesn’t melt you in the middle of the day :) The common area has a washer and another stove that can be used. Now the guests!!!! They made us feel like family. Lucia, her father and her mother were so hospitable. They were easy to communicate with. They gave recommendations. You leave feeling like you are family. I just wish I was able to pick up Lucia’s family and her home to all the places I wanted to visit in Italy. Unfortunately, that is impossible. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Simple beautiful and homie. Please take care of there space if you decide to stay!

Siamo stati davvero bene! Silvana è gentilissima e generosa, un'ospite eccezionale. L'appartemento è molto bello, ben attrezzato e perfetto per 6 persone che amano la tranquillità. I due terrazzi sono splendidi e ben posizionati per l'esposizione al sole/all'ombra ed entrambi con una bella vista sugli agrumeti e sul mare. Si accede facilmente alla spiaggia di sabbia e ghiaia con mare cristallino, tranquillissima persino in agosto. È un posto davvero rilassante e perfetto per staccare. Ci è piaciuto molto. Grazie Silvana! Speriamo di ritornare presto.

Giuseppe è venuto di persona ad accoglierci. Il suo appartamento è stato ristrutturato da poco, quindi è tutto in ottime condizioni e corrisponde perfettamente alle aspettative che uno si fa guardando il sito, anzi risulta nche migliore con delle accortezze non segnalate, tipo le zanzariere a tutte le finestre, che in agosto non guastano. La casa è ancora in fase di abbellimento, in un contesto tranquillo e riservato, ma a pochi minuti sia da Nicotera che da Nicotera Marina. Veramente una bella esperienza, perfetta per scoprire la sua bellissima terra. Caldamente consigliato!
