Monthly Rentals in Merston

We stayed at Julia's while house hunting. Really enjoyed our stay, particularly the view from the lounge of the deer and assorted wildlife. The provision of a stocked fridge and a welcome cake were much appreciated.

Wow! My husband and I spent 2 nights in this beautiful place. Anita greeted us on arrival and showed us inside. The whole place was absolutely spotless and she genuinely was the most responsive host I have ever dealt with. The hut is private, well equipped and the perfect place to switch off. From there, we visited the towns of Chichester, Arundel and the Witterings. Anita was incredibly kind and we won't hesitate to return. A gem of a place. Thank you!

Katie was responsive and answered all questions. The leaflets in the property mentioned ‘The Gribble’ as a great place to go but was shut due to a fire back in March 2025. There was no mention of anywhere else to eat locally so this made it difficult to have a dinner out as no where would deliver. Overall, we had a lovely time and enjoyed day trips out in the area.

This property rates more than 5 stars! Self-contained, well-equipped, every detail attended to, lots of welcoming touches like milk, bread, fruit ... we even found a bag of frozen chips in the freezer. This really is an exceptional property and I would love to visit again, in fact I would arrange a holiday just to stay here. It is excellent value for money when so many owners are quite frankly ripping guests off. But cost aside, for a self contained property you will simply not do any better. It was a little way from the area we were visiting, but that did not matter. It was a pleasure to leave from and come back to. If you are a reader there is a great selection of books and watching birds in the garden is a delight. Does this sound a bit "gushy" .. maybe , but that's not me! I am genuinely pleased to have stayed here and would love to return.
