Family-friendly vacation rentals in Merida

Maria’s place is beautiful! Perfect for sharing with another family. Our kids loved the pool and the adults loved the outside seating area. So many amenities in the house including washer & dryer. You do have to walk a little longer than I was planning with kids, but for adults it’s fine. Also an OXO very close and convenient. We would stay here again! Thank you Maria!

The place was beyond our expectations. Paula was an amazing host and assured that we had everything we needed. Met us on check in day to make sure she answered all questions and provided suggestions for restaurants and things to go. She was beyond helpful. The place felt like a home. All my family and friends loved it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Merida. Thank you!

La quinta es extraordinaria, lo mejor de todo que cada cuarto está separado. El lugar es tan agradable, tranquilo, limpio, que disfrutas cada espacio que tiene, lo cual deseas no salir de ahí

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans cette chambre. L’endroit était propre, sentait bon et est bien placé. Je le recommande fortement ! Petit bémol, il n’y a pas vraiment de fenêtres dans la chambre seulement des puits de lumière. Mais l’endroit était tout de même très agréable !

We had a wonderful stay at Flor's place. The place is small but very charming and it's perfect for 1 or 2 people. The glass ceiling really gives it a unique feel. What really shines are the 3 amazing terraces with all kinds of plant life. A lot of thought and sweat equity was put in to create such a fine and peaceful place. The dipping pool is an added bonus after a day of walking around in the Merida heat. One caveat: the spiral staircase requires that you are mobile and not too wide. The location is a 5-minute walk from the Santiago Market and 12-15 minutes from Santa Lucia Park or Plaza Grande. As for hosting, Flor was very helpful and quick to answer all messages we sent and in person, she is truly a delightful person and her family is as well. Our conversations with Flor were always a pleasure. She is the kind of person that you would want to have as a friend. Additionally, she has a fantastic eye for design as can be seen by the way she decorates both inside and out.

Excelente lugar para tu estadía en Mérida , a solo 5 min del centro. Casa muy bonita con todos los servicios , todo funciona de maravilla , bonitos espacio que te hacen sentir super cómodo, hermoso jardín donde puedes tener cómodas charlas , en fin casa corazón nos encantó a la familia . Gracias por cuidar cada detalle .

This is the second time we've stayed here and we have booked a couple of weeks next year. The terrace is wonderfully private and we love all the artistic touches. There is lots of room and it is well equipped. The location a few blocks from Mercado Santiago is excellent.

Het is een prachtig huis om vanuit daar de stad te verkennen. De fietsen zijn ideaal! Het huis is voorzien van alle gemakken, aan alles is gedacht. Heerlijk privé, makkelijk parkeren voor de deur. Onbezorgd verblijf, zou het zo weer boeken. Charles was een hele vriendelijke host met veel tips.

La casa está muy bien organizada y cerca de muchos lugares donde comer. La casa es muy cómoda y la separación de las habitaciones la hace más tranquila. Felipe siempre estuvo atento a cualquier cosa y una linda persona. Muchas gracias por todo Felipe!

We loved visiting Merida and staying at Mariana's beautiful home. We had four couples and there was plenty of room for each to have privacy but also come together for breakfast, share the pool and plan excursions and dinners. There are many activities to do in and around Merida, and we found having our own cars was very helpful for getting out into the larger area. Having garage space at the house was great, as street parking is a bit tricky by the house. Around town, we walked, as there are many great restaurants, museums and shops within close range. Additionally, it was very fun for us was having Mariana's housekeeper, Librada, make breakfast for us each day. She was a delightful person and a great cook! We would love to visit Merida again and if we do, we hope we can stay at Mariana's home again.

Excelente lugar para trabajar o vacacionar. La anfitriona siempre amable y pendiente de las cosas. El lugar tranquilo y cuentas con todos los utensilios. Muy recomendable toda esta instancia ha sido amena.

We stayed here for 4 weeks while our kids did a Spanish language program nearby. The apartment was great upon arrival but as we stayed longer we realized just how many thoughtful touches Arturo had setup. The kitchen was well stocked with implements. There was plenty of kid-accessible and inaccessible storage available which was great for us. Great washer/dryer. The AC is great. It’s near a large supermarket that has yummy prepared foods. Near a convenient bus stop. Arturo proactively asked if we needed anything. Room to work, play and rest. We are a family of 2 parents, 2 kids and an infant and are immensely grateful for how well setup this apartment was for us.

We loved our stay at this gorgeous home. Really spacious, perfect for our family of four. Good size pool. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful tiles! Really comfortable beds. Walkable to the centre and really near Santiago park. Benjamin met us at the house and showed us the ropes. Nothing bad to say. Totally lovely house. Oh and fresh flowers and fruit were much appreciated!

La casa de Berenice y Julián en Mérida es realmente hermosa, decorada con mucho gusto y con una gran atención a los detalles, algo que aprecié muchísimo. Cada rincón está pensado con cuidado, lo que hace que la estancia sea muy agradable. Además, me encantó que permitieran la entrada de mi perro, algo que no siempre es fácil de encontrar y que hizo que mi experiencia fuera aún mejor. El entorno es tranquilo, ideal para descansar, pero al mismo tiempo, hay un supermercado bien surtido a solo 15 minutos caminando, lo cual es muy conveniente. La comunicación con los anfitriones fue siempre clara y directa, lo que hizo que todo el proceso fuera muy sencillo. El internet es buenísimo, yo trabajo online y fue muy útil. ¡Definitivamente un lugar al que volvería!

Comfortable accommodations in walkable area. There are corner stores, pharmacies, and a grocery store in walking distance. You can also get to the Centro within 15min by Uber. The pool is great to cool off in and the kitchen is well equipped if you choose to cook any meals at home.

Excelente alojamiento! Las instrucciones para llegar fueron claras, el alojamiento está increíble, las camas son muy cómodas y el espacio es bastabte amplio. Qué decir de Mariana, gran anfitriona, amable y atenta. Las amenidades de alberca y gimnasio dan valor agregado a la estancia. Hay una plaza muy cerca del alojamiento y una tienda de conveniencia cruzando la calle. Definitivamente volveríamos a alojarnos con en este lugar, desde la llegada hasta el check out nos sentimos cómodos.

La estancia fue totalmente agradable, todo estaba en orden y disfrutamos tanto de la casa como de la alberca, sin embargo, la alberca solo la limpiaron una vez durante nuestra estancia, de ahí en más todo perfecto. Las habitaciones eran amplias y cómodas; la ubicación es muy buena, un lugar muy tranquilo con muchos puestos de comida al rededor, así como centros comerciales cercanos, además de que el Museo Maya estaba a 20 minutos caminando. La atención proporcionada por José fue de lo más puntual, muy amable y con respuesta rápida.

El lugar ideal si vas con tu familia, la zona es tranquila y está bien localizada. Los anfitriónes son muy amables y responden rápido si tienes alguna duda. Y nos dejaron un garrafón de agua de bienvenida 💖

Erin’s house is the most amazing house we’ve ever spent our vacation in. Every room/space is carefully decorated. Her paintings are so beautiful that we even bought one from her. The pool is a wonderful way to stay cool after a hot day visiting the city and all what Merida’s surroundings have to offer. Erin is a great host, we highly recommend her!
