The front garden is enclosed with an iron fence and gate with off street parking. The house is divided into two private apartments each with an entrance form the front porch. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Our cottage, garden and treehouse are a little oasis right in the middle of the city. Within walking distance to Overton Park, you can enjoy the Zoo, the Brooks Museum and the Overton Park Shell in minutes. Restaurants, theaters and shops are also within minutes, with downtown in just a couple of miles. We live in the main house on the other side of the backyard so we’re available if any help is needed.

Ideally situated in a safe area for those visiting/passing through Memphis. -Tranquil views of open fields, horses, and a variety of other furry friends at a working horse boarding barn. -Stay solo or with someone you don't mind cozying up to. Ideal for mobile guests comfortable with stairs and tighter spaces. Locals or those without positive reviews will be rejected. Our property is non smoking.

Harbert House is situated within walking distance to shops and food in Cooper Young + Overton Square, 2 miles from the Memphis Zoo and Overton park, & 3 miles from downtown. Harbert House was built in 1912 and has historic charm.
