Slow ... are you looking for peace and a little break in the great outdoors ? You will find them at Gut Sauerburg away from all the hustle and bustle in a secluded location. You will be woken up to the highest by the Kikeriki of our rooster , the complaining of our goats or the mowing of our sheep . Our shepherd's wagon is simple and located in our garden, very close ( 20 steps ) to the beautiful viewpoint. You can stay there very well in the summer, barbecue or sit by the fire pit in the evening.

Half-timbered house

Our charming half-timbered house has two bedrooms, a small bathroom, a kitchen with sitting area and a living room. On the first floor there is a bedroom and the bathroom. Via the stairs in the hallway you reach the 2nd floor the living room with access to the kitchen. Another flight of stairs in the living room leads you to the open gallery as a second sleeping area. Please note that the cottage is not childproof due to the many stairs! Our basement has space for bicycles.

Every half hour to Melsungen (approx. 4 minutes) or Kassel (about 25 minutes). The historic old town of Melsungen offers shopping opportunities and has good restaurants.
