Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Matosinhos

We were traveling with a minivan, so we specifically looked for accommodation outside the city center — and this house in Porto was a great find. It’s located in a quieter neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle, yet still very accessible. Ride-hailing was easy, and many attractions were within walking distance. The house itself is surprisingly modern and beautifully renovated, which contrasts with the age and character of the building from the outside — a really cool mix of old and new. It was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Best of all, we were able to park for free right on the street without worrying about tight underground garages — a huge plus when driving a minivan. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Porto, especially if you’re driving!

Great apartment accurately described in the listing. Toze responded quickly to every question & request. Neighborhood highlights include a fruit stand next door, Augusto Restaurant, Ribeiro Cafe owned by a sweet couple, 3 block walk to Marques metro and a bus stop in front for the #303, a circulator bus going all through downtown Porto. The apartment is also a manageable walk to downtown (about 20-25 minutes). Good for a long stay. We appreciated the washing machine on the porch off the kitchen.

We spent 5 nights in Luis apartment and could not have done better. Luis is a real "superhost", friendly, helpful and communicative. In addition to a lovely welcome with wine, beer, water and fruits, he provided us with daily sightseeing tips and dinner options. We felt completely at ease and at home. The apartment is ideally located in a pedestrian zone with stores and pubs/restaurants/cafés/supermarkets right next door. All the interesting churches, gardens, museums, market halls, riverside etc. are within walking distance. The small apartment is cozy, charming and comfortable. Thank you very much Luis. We will come next year again.

Logement très bien situé permettant d'avoir accès à pied à tous les sites d'intérêt de Porto. Conforme aux photos et propre. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Jorge mais il était très réactif par message, et l'arrivée autonome permet une flexibilité. Petit bémol concernant les équipements de base : un seul torchon et pas de sel ni huile, une seule serviette de bain par personne. Dans l'ensemble nous avons passé une très belle semaine à Porto.

Todo muy bien. Situado en una zona muy céntrica al lado de todo. Pequeño pero funcional.

Anfitriã muito atenciosa, como era inverno e vínhamos do calor do Brasil deixou a casa tão quente que nem aguentamos 😉, e logo baixei a temperatura. Casa com muito espaço, muitos e bons armários, local muito agradável, encostado ao Metro, com vaga na garagem mas que nem usei por ter sempre vaga na rua. Merecia uma cera no piso, e algumas pequenas manutenções

Perfect when arriving by car. Close to metro, which is ideal to get into city Center. The apartment has a nice balcony and is very good especially in terms of what you pay! We loved ALL the small details in the apartment that made is feel at home. Also tailoring some spesific things to our needs.

Huset er veldig godt utstyrt. Vi hadde alt som var nødvendig for å lage middag til familie på 6. Det er også en veldig fin hage ved huset med mulighet til grilling. Huset ligger i en rolig strøk, med hyggelige naboer og et lite bakeri. Vi hadde 10 fine dager hvor vi kunne bruke dagene til å reise og å se de mest berømte plassene for deretter å returnere til en koselig, privat plass uten byens bråk. Det er kanskje en fordel å ha en bil når man bor såpass «på bygda». Vi kommer til å huske lukten fra eucalyptusskogen og fin fuglesang på morgenene. Verten Joana er veldig omtenksom og hyggelig. Det er laget et oversikt over diverse steder i Medas som er verdt å besøke. Hun var alltid rask til å svare på hvilket som helst spørsmål. Det er absolut verdt til å tilbringe ferien i det gule huset i Medas. Kjempe hyggelig sted.

Wir sind absolut begeistert von der Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft von Jorge und Susana! Wir blieben 2 Wochen und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Es war makellos sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet und liebevoll dekoriert. Das Bett war so bequem! Jorge und Susana waren immer erreichbar und haben uns sogar bei Ankunft und während des Aufenthaltes ein paar Leckereien da gelassen. Toll auch war, dass wir ein Separé im Innenhof komplett für uns allein hatten. Für unsere beiden Hunde total toll, da sie den ganzen Tag in der Sonne liegen konnten, wenn wir arbeiteten, ohne dass wir Angst haben mussten, dass sie weglaufen können. In 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß direkt am riesigen Sandstrand. Es war traumhaft und auch die Nachbarn haben wir schnell ins Herz geschlossen. Herzlichen Dank für die tolle Zeit! Wir kommen wieder!

Estefania place was exactly as described: cozy, well equipped and very clean. The location was perfect for our family trip. Quiet but few steps away from supermarkets, coffee bars, local attractions, restaurants. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Foi uma excelente experiência! Nos sentimos em casa, gostaríamos de ter ficado ainda mais tempo. Casa limpa, organizada, móveis novos, apartamento muito completo. Anfitriã receptiva e simpática. Vale muito a pena, obrigada pela hospedagem ;) Recomendamos 100%

Muy cerca del puente de Luis I, tanto por la parte de arriba como por la parte baja. Se puede aparcar gratis, aunque no hay demasiado sitio. También hay parking cerca. Trasporte publico casi al lado. Zona tranquila. Es una casita baja, muy bonita y decorada con gusto. Es como en las fotos. El acceso a la casa es muy fácil. En cuanto al anfitrión, enseguida contestó a nuestras preguntas. Lo único malo, la sensación de humedad, le hace falta un deshumidificador.

La casa está tal y como se ve en las fotos. Muy cerca del metro y por consiguiente bien comunicada con Oporto. Zona tranquila con servicios básicos (tiendas y restaurantes ) cerca. Lo único que no tiene parking privado, pero se puede aparcar en la calle sin problema, zona tranquila. Nuno es un anfitrión muy bueno y responde rápidamente !! Gracias por todo.

Super séjour dans une belle maison bien décorée, tout était propre et bien équipé. Un quartier très calme et à 15 minutes à pied de la plage et du métro ! super emplacement si l'on veut passer quelques jours au bord de l'océan

숙소 위치는 가이아 지구이며 Vila Nova de Gaia-Devesas 역에서 정차하면 우버로 10분 이내로 도착합니다. 공항에서 숙소까지 우버타고 와도 오래 안 걸렸어요^^ 동네분들 살고있는 조용한 주거지입니다. 아파트먼트는 꼭대기 층에 있으며 복층 집 입니다. 체크인하는 순간부터 루이가 오랫동안 상세하게 이 집에 대한 설명을 해줬어요. 문 여는 방법도 익힐때까지 차분하게 도움 주셨습니다. 게스트 룸은 2층에 있고 방문 바로 옆이 샤워가능한 화장실입니다. 리모델링 하신건지 게시된 화장실 사진과는 전혀 다른 분위기에 식물들이 놓여져있는 너무 깔끔하고 이쁜 화장실이였어요. 방 안에서 일출/일몰에 붉게 물든 도루강의 뷰가 너무 아름다운 곳입니다. 집안 곳곳에 많은 예술 작품들이 있습니다. 먼지 한 톨 없는 방 안에서 최대한 깔끔히 사용하려고 아침마다 빗자루로 방바닥을 쓸었는데 그럼에도 떨어지는 머리카락은 어쩔 수가 없네요 ,,,ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 크리스마스 이브엔 세르게이가 달달한 간식을 한웅큼 주었고 루이는 밤 늦게 들어오는 저를 많이 배려해주셨습니다. 근처엔 많은 카페와 식당들, 가까운 곳에 마트가 있어요. 부엌이나 화장실 사용 시간은 제한이 없었습니다. 특히 크리스마스+연말 콤보로 많은 식당의 문이 닫혀있었는데 마트에서 장봐와서 주방에서 편하게 요리해먹었어요. 한국음식 냄새 많이나지않냐고 물으니 주방후드 환풍기 키면 된다고 괜찮다고 하셨습니다. ㅠㅠ 그리고 얼마 전 한국에서 일어난 여객기 사고를 걱정해주었습니다.. 마음이 많이 안 좋았는데 루이랑 세르게이, 고양이 미로, 애교 많은 아기 고양이 살바도르•그래피티 덕분에 따듯하고 평온한 연말 보내다갑니다. 피카소는 보지 못 해서 아쉬웠어요^^ 좋은 곳에 갔길.. 아무튼 깨끗하고 조용한 좋은 숙소였습니다. 같은 아파트먼트 주민분들도 너무 친절하고 스윗하세요^^ 오며가며 웃으며 인사도하고 문도 열어주시고 행복한 시간 보내다갑니다. 항상 좋은 일만 가득하길!

Cuenta con lo esencial para la estancia, el apartamento cumple con creces con lo que necesitas - al menos, en nuestro caso, ya que solo parábamos para dormir. Si vais en coche, se puede aparcar en la misma puerta, prácticamente, de forma gratuita, lo cual es un plus. Hay paradas de bus y tranvía prácticamente al lado de casa, para mayor comodidad. En nuestro caso, hemos repetido por segunda vez con Adriana y este apartamento, dado la comodidad y facilidad del lugar, así como la comunicación y amabilidad de Adriana. 10/10. Volveremos, seguro

Saubere Unterkunft. Der Ort ist nicht so ein Highlight aber für einen Zwischenstopp ok. Tatsächlich kann man sehr gut und zu fairen Preisen Fisch essen. Gegenüber der Wohnung gibt es einen kleinen Laden mit sehr leckeren Sandwiches.

Great stay. Brilliant location for being out of Porto to access lovely beach but so easy and cheap to get train into Porto. Also used train to go other way along the coast. Apartment had everything could of needed. Very clean. Bed comfortable and large. Great amount of hot water and pressure in shower. Was plenty warm enough with heaters provided. Would definitely stay again

Great apartment with lots of space ans ideally located for exploring Porto. As mentioned in other reviews, it's ideal location does make it quite noisey at nighttime but that is the price of being walkable to lots of bars and restaurants.
