Beach house vacation rentals in Martha's Vineyard

A minor communication glitch between host and cleaners meant two of the beds had not been made and probably a general cleaning between guests wasn't done. Fortunately the property was already very clean and the guests before me must have been, too. Everything else was in order. When I let the host know, she immediately contacted the cleaners while I went out for groceries. By the time I got back, the place was perfect and the cleaners were gone. I don't think this is a regular occurrence at all. In October this neighborhood was very quiet, which is a priority for me. And I felt very safe, which is also important. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

While the weather did not cooperate (it rained the entire time) the cottage and views made up for the weather. From the table to the couch the views are wonderful. The cottage is very well stocked from towels and blankets to the kitchen. We did not need anything that wasn't supplied. The bathroom is small but functional. The shower might not work well for a larger person. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe and peaceful. We enjoyed our long weekend and would book this cottage again.

This is a lovely home, on Clark's Cove peninsula, in "The Whaling City"! All amenities are included, & it's just steps away from the beach & historic Hazelwood Park! Also, the deck faces west, so there are magnificent sunsets every evening! We really enjoyed our stay here, & we're spreading the word amongst family & friends!

Donna was a wonderful host. Her attention to detail was exceptional. Communication was spot on. The house was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. This is one of the best AirBnB homes I've stayed in. The location was great. Walking along the water was a highlight. We were so happy to visit her home and learn of her family history. We definitely plan to return. There are ton's of restaurants to choose from in the New Bedford-Fairhaven area and Donna has lots of the menus available. The kitchen is well stocked to cook a family meal as well. She has thought of just about everything you could need while away from your own home. Gorgeous house and location. The beach is beautiful and literally steps away. Kitchen and downstairs bath, both decks, and grill area were outstanding. Views are beautiful. Restaurants in the area are delicious. Hosts are welcoming and responsive.

I highly recommend this beautiful home for your next stay. It had a spectacular view and the house was very well maintained and furnished. This home was conveniently located and felt very private at the same time.

Prescott’s house is such a relaxing place to stay with a big group. The house has a very pretty view and is very clean and peaceful. We are very grateful for such a nice stay at this beautiful house. The BBQ outside didn’t work great but other than that we had a wonderful time! Thank you Prescott.

Marla's vacation home was very lovely. We liked the pictures of her place, but once we arrived we realized that she had remodeled a number of rooms. Each room was updated, very clean and cozy. Marla has made sure that her place is stocked with all of the large and small conveniences that guests would want in a home away from home. The location and the surroundings are stunning, especially with the Fall foliage. One can tell that Marla takes great pride in her beautiful rental. -Mark & Susan G

We loved are family stay at Paul & Katie’s home for Easter Week. It is a dream home . The neighborhood was beautiful and walkable, with a peaceful path to a private beach. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Mashpee Commons about an 8 minute drive away.

This home was great for our family. The pool and backyard are beautiful, and the house was clean and welcoming. There are a lot of activities in the area. I would stay here again!

Chris' home was clean, bright and very well-stocked. He was timely in communication, and the area was perfect. Beaches, dining and shopping were all within walking distance or a quick drive. It's a great location for taking the ferry to either Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket. We certainly hope to return!

it is a nice comfy house esp for a family. Swimming pool and game room down in the basement would be alot of fun for kids to keep them busy at day time and night time. Beach, restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, etc are all right there esp. only like less than 5 to 15 minutes drive and also less than 25 minutes drive to go to north Falmouth or Wood Hole. They have a nice downtown with many stores, restaurants, bowling ally, etc which that is only less than 15 minutes drive from the house Also taking a walk from the house to the beach is so beautiful esp morning time. i walked every morning, and love every bit of the walk. It rained once during our vacation week and rest were sunny days for the rest of the week. We were lucky to have the good weather. Anyway, the house is approximately about less than a mile and half from the beach. Driving to Chetham is about little a hour drive from the house. To Provincetown, about 1 hour and 45 minutes drive.

We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay so much! The neighborhood is adorable for walking and our little one loved the playground right down the road. The house is so quiet yet so close to downtown and beaches. Will definitely be back!

This home is beautiful. Paul was an amazing host. He gave very clear and helpful directions. The house was very clean and had all the things we needed. There were games that our group enjoyed playing and a lot to do in the area. Paul gave great recommendations of things to do in Wareham. I was there for my sister’s wedding and it feels like home, the place was clean and the welcome gift from Matt was a really nice gesture. We really had an amazing time staying there and I will come back for sure ( the kids approved 😉😊). Matt is a great host.

Lisa is an incredible host! She was very responsive and easy to reach. The house was very clean and neat and well equipped to make your stay easy and enjoyable. You can really tell that she cares about the home and the comfort of her guests. The home is located in a very quiet lowkey neighborhood with easy access to town and everything you need either by bike or car. I would definitely stay there again.

This house is absolutely divine. I wish I was an author and needing quiet time and a cup of tea to write. It is clean, spacious, and perfect for families looking for a weekend getaway with kiddos!

This home is perfect for a Cape Cod getaway. It's very close to the water and attractions, yet tucked away in a cute little neighborhood, away from the traffic and crowds. The kitchen and baths are nicely equipped with everything you could need and more. The water pressure is great! With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, this is a perfect spot for a family or a girls' getaway. We went in December but I can't wait to come back and enjoy the lovely yard and fire pit in the warmer months. Yvonne was quick to respond to questions and always very friendly. This is the best air bnb we've been to on the Cape in a long time.

I came here in December, it was quiet and peaceful. The house is very clean and it has a lot of space. If you bring a dog they have a huge fenced-in yard. The kitchen is very well equipped and I had everything I needed. It’s very close to the beach and there is plenty to do here in the summer. If you have kids, they are going to love it here! If you want to explore Cape Cod, this is the time of year to do that. The beaches are beautiful and so many wonderful downtowns. I hope to visit again next year.

The home was really great just as advertised and my family members felt right at home. Many family memories were made the back yard fire pit and grill was perfect for relaxing and laughing in the evening The beach and beautiful scenery just added to the experience two thumbs up from our littlest family member of 9 months who looked forward to his stroller ride to the beach every day Location was terrific close to Falmouth shops restaurants and ferry to Martha’s Vineyard Tam was very responsive and a great host We really enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend to other families
