Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It's a really extraordinary, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. House and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to make the old train station a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We really enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could use the "rusty" French skills again. Thank you for everything!

Don’t think twice about where to stay in Bordeaux. This is the place! It’s perfectly located and just as beautiful and well-organized as it looks in the pics! The decoration is awesome, with a clever collection of books and art. The space is filled with natural light, thanks to the large windows, and it's both cozy and peaceful. We never heard a sound from the neighbors or the street. Despite the silence, the location is incredibly convenient. In just a 5-minute walk, you’ll find shops, restaurants, the rue Saint-Catherine, downtown (Centre), or the quai (river). The hosts were attentive and thoughtful, and the coffee was fantastic! Even the restroom lighting had a fun touch. Thank you so much! Bordeaux never disappoints!

We had a lovely restful stay at Fabienne’s. Fabienne and her concierge Stephanie could not have been nicer or more helpful. The apartment is in the center of the town, very convenient for shopping or strolling by the river. The terrace was especially nice. We enjoyed having the space for sitting in the evening having an apéro and watching the swifts overhead. Thank you for sharing your apartment, Fabienne. It was perfect for us.

Such a beautiful apartment close to everything and yet quiet due to being tucked away just off the busy streets. Excellent balcony for breakfast or evening meals and a very comfortable living area. Would definitely recommend to others!

The cottage has everything you need. And even air conditioning! The wifi was great. And there were tips for restaurants. I particularly liked the very light bedding.

A beautiful gite in an idyllic setting. Quiet and rural but ideally situated to explore the surrounding area and villages. Looking forward to a return visit.

Dear Lisa, We liked everything about your house, especially your hospitality and kindness. The colleagues were welcomed with a pack of water, coffee tea and a jar of jam, sugar, bread, chocolate... All recommendations are very useful, especialy kind recommendations for shops and a butcher shop nearby. All communication during the stay was fast and clear, and everything was resolved quickly with the hostess of the house. The house is spacious and clean, tidy and well equipped. We loved staying in this charming, rustic and quirky gîte. The two terraces were perfect for dining, relaxing and enjoying the view. There is so much to do in the area we could definitely have stayed for longer. Brigitte is a lovely warm and welcoming host. Thank you Brigitte for a wonderful stay!

Excellent stay in this quiet haven of peace. The view is beautiful, the amenities for children are very appreciated (baby bed, trampoline and toys). The living room is spacious, well furnished and tastefully decorated. Other amenities also appreciated: ping pong table, bicycles, barbecue, etc. We'll be happy to go back!

Very functional and very quiet apartment. It's very functional. Bus line 15 is 5 minutes away and Saint Jean train station (tram C) is a 15-minute walk. The private parking space is an undeniable asset. And finally, Jerome is a responsive and very friendly host.

The apartment is much more spacious than the pictures show! It has everything you need and is very tidy and comfortable. The host is very friendly and helped us check in easily. I recommend this spot if you are in the area.

Staying with Jacqueline was a new and special experience. The house is beautiful, functional and cozy, it has the flavor of things seen and experienced, it brings you into the world of Jacqueline who was very kind, welcomed us by explaining everything practical and providing us with various materials, addresses, brochures, travel maps, selections of her favorite places. The terrace is wonderful, it has a terrace with plants, flowers, a table, umbrellas, deckchairs, and lovely natural light... Everything you need for breakfast is available, the kitchen is equipped with everything, and all this creates the feeling of being a true citizen of Bordeaux for a few days. Thank you to Jacqueline for what she offers to those who are hosted in her home. P.S. The apartment is on the third floor with a shared elevator from the garage and only until August 31. To reach the city center, you have to walk the Pont de Pierre: it's not a problem, it's a nice walk with a view of Bordeaux!
