Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mareuil en Périgord

We stayed with our 2-year-old son at Patricia's for 5 days. The animals and the whole property with pool were ideal for the family. It was nice, quiet and the animals very (especially the dog) very tame. Patricia herself is an exceptional person, extremely hospitable and helpful. She even drove me to the pharmacy in the next town to pick up my medication. Thanks very much again!

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Very nice stay at this very cozy little house. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating. The view is nice and the place is very quiet.

The house is very nice, very well-equipped. We had a lovely stay, very quiet. Nearby tours and hikes are available. Rebecca was always responsive to our questions.

The host is very responsive before the stay and during The welcome on arrival is neat, the rooms worthy of a beautiful hotel with pleasant little touches (soap from a local goat farm, lit fireplace, etc.) The house is very nicely furnished, very practical and the outdoor spaces are sublime, it is quiet, surrounded by nature, enough to settle in the sun or at nightfall with the brazier. We had a great time with friends and with children. The house is child-friendly (games, books) In summer, to be able to enjoy the pool, it must be nice too. The house is great and allowed us to have a great weekend with friends: sumptuous setting and very quiet. The house and the outdoors are very well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay here. The house itself is perfectly located. The medieval town of Sarlat is only a 2 minute drive away and there also tons of other attractions in the area. And while being close to everything, you can really come to rest in the beautiful garden and enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzzi in all tranquility. Xavier and Laure are amazing hosts. They are so friendly and thoughtful and always ready to help. They are both really wonderful persons. Thank you for everything.

I spent a week with my friend at Marc's in one of his cottages, we were hosted very well and he offered us a welcome drink and introduced us to his estate! There are many amenities available such as a large swimming pool, gym, bike loan....... It's really a quiet and exotic place near his pond where my friend was proud to fish a carp with Marc. A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We stayed in the Terrace Apartment which was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. The supplied cold water and milk were so helpful as it meant we could make an emergency cup of tea to start our day before heading to the supermarket! All toiletries and tea and coffee supplied! Would definitely stay again.

We spent New Year's Eve in this very pretty cabin. The awakening was magnificent, a splendid sunrise over fields as far as the eye can see and beautifully frosted trees. Thanks to Luc and Anne for hosting us.

The cottage was very quiet and invites you to relax with a beautiful garden and beautiful SPA FACILITIES. The house has everything you need and the attention to detail made us feel very comfortable right away. Luisa was very friendly and helpful. We immediately got along very well with her. She also provided us with very valuable tips for our holiday. In summary, we felt very comfortable and spent our vacation in a very well-equipped holiday home and enjoyed the hot tub, as well as the sauna. There was nothing missing. Even in the event of a failure of the internet due to an accident, Luisa promptly provided replacement. We will be safe again! Thank you for everything Luisa!

We needed calm, to recharge as a couple, to disconnect and the goal was achieved hands down. Beautiful accommodation in nature with all the necessities. Ideal for couples or children from 6 years old. The "loft" has some "risky" areas for a child learning to walk or under 5 years old. Remarkably comfortable bedding. I was apprehensive because there were no shutters or blackout curtains, and I'm sensitive to light when sleeping. Well, I managed to sleep until after 8 a.m. every day and didn't wake up because of the daylight. The calm, the beautiful colors, the songs of the birds. We experienced a moment out of time. Location is quite correct. 15 min to reach an Intermarché hypermarket, 20 min from the Proumayssac chasm, 40 min from Lascaux, Roque Gageac, Domme, Sarlat. A property that we will keep for our greatest pleasure.

Charlotte and her husband were present but discreet, the perfect balance. The space is independent and you can spend a nice evening in the Nordic bath after enjoying their magnificent meal basket :)

The accommodation is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of animals to observe and approach, which made the kids happy. Many games are available, it's really a little paradise for families! The owners are adorable, available when needed but very discreet. The hot tub and pool, reserved just for us, were just great. We'll be happy to come back!

A dream setting, wonderful accommodation, very high quality amenities and in an impeccably clean condition and a more than attentive welcome... and in addition, everything has been thought out and homemade by the owners. Everything was perfect, and even more than that. We highly recommend it for anyone who would like to have a memorable stay.

Thank you for the idyllic stay in this little corner of nature. We had a great time despite changing weather. This cabin in the woods is exactly what was described to us and that we were looking for. We even met the doe! The cabin was very clean, cozy, and well appointed. Accurate to photos. The bottle of wine, a check-in gift, was delicious. We found the pleasure of the 33 towers. The cabin is well located in the Dordogne which allowed us to make lots of visits to castles, caves, villages. I highly recommend this cabin in the woods! We'll be happy to go back!!!
