Vacation rentals with a balcony in Marano Lagoon

This villa was more than expected! I really appreciated all the attention to detail and enjoyed relaxing here!

Pietro was a wonderful host with a wonderful apartment right on the canal. Everything was as described and he was flexible with us arriving early, which we appreciated very much! The unit was beautiful The local recommendations were great. He helped arranged a water taxi, checked on us and even reached out about a lost and found item. Will absolutely stay again. We had a wonderful stay in Venice thanks to Arrigo! He welcomed us at the vaporetto station (so much better than a key locker!) and he recommended us the best places to see and to eat. The appartement is wonderful and very well located in a quiet neighbourhood. We will definitely stay here again!

An easy walk from the train station into the Cannaregio district. Situated just off the main street along a canal it was super quiet apartment and was a welcome relief to return to from the crowded streets. The kitchen was adequate with the requisite cutlery and plates. Sofa was comfortable and the TV was a good size. Our children were in one bedroom with the single beds and attached bathroom. Parents in the double with another bathroom. Showers were excellent with a lot of hot water and great water pressure. Only thing to be aware of is the fairly narrow, steep stairs to come to the apartment (2nd floor). No problem if your suitcase is small. Taking your rubbish to the canal in the morning is an experience - hard workers using the boats for collection, steering around the post boats and everyone else. Eye opening! Plenty of restaurants nearby and beautiful to walk around after dinner when the neigbouring streets are empty.

My husband, my 18 year old son, and I very much enjoyed our stay at Irene's apartment last week. The apartment matched the description and pictures and had everything we needed during our time there. My son loved having the loft space to himself. The apartment is convenient to the train station which was important to us and we easily walked to and from it for arrival and departure. As some reviews mention, the stairs can be a little difficult to navigate with luggage, but it wasn't a problem for us. Irene was very accessible and responsive and kindly accommodated an early check in, which we really appreciated. She also provided a list of restaurant recommendations, even though she has guide books under her profile (which I had forgotten about at the time). A great stay and a great host. Would definitely recommend. We loved our stay in Venice!

My husband and I choose Francesca's nest on the venetian roof's for our first ever visit to Venice for our 40th birthday's and we couldn't be happier, it was perfect and we loved it! It was easy to find from Francesca's directions. It does have 4 flights of stairs but we didn't find this an issue, it's also what gave the best views from the roof terrace and a canal view from the bedroom window. The bed was super comfy, kitchen had everything you need and it was very clean. One thing worth mentioning is the plug sockets are 3 pins, although Francesca did leave 2 adaptors for 2 pin plugs. It is walking distance to most of the main attractions in Venice, has supermarkets, restaurants and a fruit and veg boat right outside. There was also luggage storage next to the Coop as well, i think 5 euro's a piece. It was the perfect base and we will definitely come back!

This was my second time to stay here ( which says a lot, that I returned to the same apartment) and it was as wonderful as the first stay. Maria Caterrina meets you on arrival and is so welcoming and you just feel immediately at home. The apartment is immaculate and comfortable. The balcony is the best part though - whether enjoying morning coffee or evening wine, watching the boats and gondolas go by - it’s just incredible! The central location is also perfect. We took a private water taxi both arriving from Chioggia port, and departing to Santa Maria train station, which was so easy and convenient from the dock right outside the apartment. Highly recommend this beautiful apartment when visiting Venice.
