Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Manuel Antonio

We had an unforgettable stay at Gretel's place. We saw 3 types of monkeys, macaws, tucans and squirrels and iguanas, all while hanging out at the pool or on the terrace. Communication was great, Gretel checked in several times to see if everything was good. The house offers everything you could need - we cooked at the property several times and were able to use a fully stocked kitchen. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool which is very toddler friendly. The location can't be beat - you're close to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio with endless activities, restaurants etc. We really felt like we were immersed in nature and could not have wished for a better place to spend our vacation in Costa Rica.

If Casa Serena is available BOOK IT now!!! The most wonderful, magical place I have ever stayed! The house and property are perfect with amazing views, wildlife, plants, waterfalls, comfy beds, beautiful pool, and more. Wai, the concierge, helped me from the moment I booked until the moment we left. He always responded quickly and helped me plan our itinerary, from activities, private chef our first night (did not want to worry about food after a long travel day), transportation, beach and restaurant recommendations. He was invaluable and can't brag on him enough! Gera the housekeeper is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She kept the place spotless including laundry, dishes and the best starfruit juice made from a tree right on the property! I know it can't be guaranteed but we did have a troop of Capuchin monkeys come and eat and play in the trees surrounding the veranda on our first morning. We loved Costa Rica and Casa Serena! Pura Vida!!!

Beautiful property and kind hosts! They were so descriptive on finding the place and let us check in and check out flexibly. We absolutely loved our stay and they were ready with recommendations in the area. I only put 4 stars for easy to find because that’s anywhere in the area. It was dark when we came in so it was a little difficult but because of how thorough their instructions were we found it more easily. Would love to return!

Honestly this place is more incredible in person than the photos, which is hard to believe! If you book this place, just know that there’s a steep incline getting to the house so make sure you rent an appropriate vehicle for that. There aren’t places that are walkable nearby in my opinion, but that’s the price you pay for an amazing view and this type of house. Vanessa was awesome- make sure to use the private chef service and the beach service! Both were awesome. We also highly recommend eating at Ronny’s for lunch

Absolutely loved this place! We had a friend trip of 4 and this was perfect. Super secluded. It felt like a mico-White Lotus without the deaths. Charlie, the property manager, was super helpful and very responsive. I would 100% recommend this place. A gem!

We had a fantastic stay here! Great location, and Nico was very communicative and provided clear instructions. The place felt very private, and we even woke up to the sounds of some monkeys close by :) Highly recommend!

The apartment is super comfortable and extremely practical. I stayed more than a week and it has everything you could need. Everything was very clean and tidy. The place has a very nice view since it is located on a small hill and you can see all of Quepos and the sea. You see and hear many birds flying around the property. Everything is very close by foot and you have easy access to public transportation. Finally, Rodrigo is very attentive to your arrival and makes sure you have a comfortable stay. He responds quickly and kindly to any of your needs. I would 100% recommend this place for long-term stays.

I enjoyed my stay at Mangata Villas. The scenery was by far the best I’ve been to and truly felt relaxed on vacation here. The concierge was super helpful, the host was very accommodating and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay- I would recommend anyone to consider going here

A great place to stay. Location it's a luxury in Manuel Antonio and if you choose right you might find a place like this. This place was close to the beach as to Quepos town. Wich was very convenient for us a family of 4. The surroundings where on point, with amenities like the swimming pool and a comfy entrance. Just the right space with an open kitchen. Looking forward to come back in the future.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The spaces is beautiful and centrally located while feeling tucked away. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. We really loved watching the sunrise from the tower that overlooks the mountains down to the beach, it is worth the early alarm on vacation! Jason was super helpful and gave us great advice for navigating Manuel Antonio and avoiding common pitfalls, thank you!

Excellent. No complaints. Close to the beach and the park entrance. The place is actually on the edge of the park boundary. There were lizards, crabs, monkeys, and horses on the property. Everything is nearby and walkable so you dont really need a car but your parking is directly in front of the building. Host communicated well. Place was super clean and comfortable with everything needed. Would stay again.

The accommodation was great, as described and shown in the photos, we really liked the cleanliness, excellent location and also a quiet place.

A very nice private place, we were visited by a family of monkeys which was very fun, I hope to return, Russ was very kind, the place is fully equipped very close to restaurants, liquor stores etc! An excellent place to relax and get away from everyday life. Super recommended!!

Monkeys, macaws and toucans were easily seen out the window and off the porch. The coffee shop right next door had great coffee and baked goods. We enjoyed breakfast at anaconda (had a great ocean view). The beach took us about 20-30 minutes to walk to but we also had our 10/11 year olds. There were locals who approached immediately offering chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards for rent that were reasonably priced. The pools at Costa Verde were clean and also provided shade with a canopy over each. The small grocery store up the hill was in walking distance and had lovely selections. The cantina had delicious food/mojitos! We would stay here again.

Nice house, beautiful garden and pool very friendly staff. The only downside is that to get to the house it is super steep up and also with a sharp bend. If you don't have a 4x4 it is difficult to go up.

I had a wonderful stay at Fanny’s place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect – close to everything but still peaceful and quiet at night. Fanny was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with any questions. I really appreciated her attention to detail and the warm welcome. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the area!

the property is secluded although not “remote”. It’s easy-ish to find if you follow the owner’s directions. The space is clean and large and a short drive to pretty much everything in Uvita. You can also walk to the Ballena national park in less than 10 minutes (just FYI, the whale’s tale takes about 1/2 hour from the park entrance though). The bed is firm - this is a preference thing and has nothing to do with how much we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is basic and has everything you would need to cook meals.

Perfect location between Emilio's Cafe and Hotel Mariposa. We walked to every fantastic meal we enjoyed. Loved the pool and the monkeys. Host's assistant Hector was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

Leonardo was friendly and responsive and made check in process a breeze. Location is a 10/10, with easy access to beach and pool area, as well as walking distance to great restaurants and a local market. Highlight of our trip was seeing a sloth hanging in the trees on the beach! Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Words don’t do enough to convey how amazing this Airbnb is and how great of an experience it is to stay here. The hosts are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The apartment itself is clean, modern, and well equipped. And the location cannot be beat. Walking distance to the town of Quepos and a quick drive to get towards Manuel Antonio, it’s a perfectly located. The highlight of this apartment, as many have noted, is the frequent monkey visitors. The hosts were generous enough to offer us bananas to feed the monkeys on the morning that they decided to visit us. My husband and I had one of the best airbnb and traveling experiences while staying here, and we hope to return soon. Highly recommend!!!!

We enjoyed our time in Uvita! The space was comfortable! Marlène was prompt in responding! The pool was fabulous after our adventures on hot days! The location was great! 15 minute casual walk to Marina Ballena National Park (The Whale’s Tail)! I would definitely stay here again when in the area!

We really liked the apartment! Very convenient location, there are restaurants nearby and places to go to know. Pool access was very close, equal to beach access. Very happy with the rooms, the kitchen was equipped, the bathrooms worked perfect. The entire apartment had air conditioning. We really enjoyed spending the night on the terrace after dinner. I would come back again no problem!
