Villa vacation rentals in Manuel Antonio

My stay at Casa Ventanas was absolutely wonderful—it was hard to leave. The house is beautiful — it is in a gated community surrounded by the peace and tranquility of the jungle. It feels secluded, but is only a short 5-10 minute drive to the center of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It was very easy to get around. Everyday I saw many colorful birds, iguanas, and macaws. The pool was a refreshing bonus after spending the day exploring. Driving up the hill to the house looked intimidating at first because it is a steep hill, but in actuality was not all that difficult — a 4x4 or AWD drive can do it just fine. The road is paved. The host was great, too. I arrived in the middle of the night due to a delayed flight and they were very flexible with the check-in. There is someone at the gate 24/7 and the gentleman there helped me to reach the house since it was so dark. The host provided recommendations, they were quick and responsive to answer my questions and overall awesome service!

Had a wonderful stay in a beautiful area .Katrin was so helpful and there if we needed her at anytime. Great accommodation and i would recommend this place to stay if in the area. Had a wonderful week.

The house has beautiful views.

All the reviews on this beautiful home are well deserved. It’s stunning and so thoughtfully designed to a very high standard (I’m an interior designer and can see the thought and love that has gone into the details). The highlight for us was the pool, many a morning and afternoons spent there with our children looking into the jungle and ocean view. Host is so responsive and accommodating. Local area is great too, lots to do but it’s not too touristy either, Thanks so much. If we return to Costa Rica it will 💯 be back to Casa Markissa.

Enjoyed our stay here! Ignacio was very responsive and such a great host! When something came up, he was responding within minutes! The house was beautiful and well kept! Really enjoyed the pool!

This place was a beautiful private jungle oasis. The compound is easy to a get to and lots of room for the whole family. Both villas are nicely laid out with all the amenities you need, with a short walk to the communal pool and yoga deck. The views are amazing and Matt has done an amazing job of creating a little paradise in the mountains. The location is within an hours drive of so many different waterfalls and tours. Also a short drive to the beach in Dominical. If you are planning to come see the south , I definitely recommend this place. I will be coming back to stay here again. Thanks Matt!

Our stay was great! The place is centrally located, close to grocery stores and restaurants. It was very large, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The kids loved running around and swinging in the hammocks and the pool. The place could have had some upgrades, like soap in the showers and more absorbent towels - small things that were not a huge bother. There also seemed to only be hot water in the main house.

Words don’t do this place justice- you feel at one with nature! Very private but stunning. Henry was great and was there if we needed anything. Figure out the cab situation before getting there or rent a car. That was our only struggle. Great food around- Dominical sushi is awesome!!!!

Loretta and Shirley: Thank you so much for accommodating us in another house while our original rental was under repair. It was a “fast and furious” short vacation, I think we made the most of our time. We even enjoyed the sound of the hard rain sitting under the poolside shelter. Your properties are beautiful. I found early morning coffee on the deck overlooking the pool and watching the toucan breakfast crew picking at the fruit in the tree a wonderful way to start our day. And the sunsets, I loved taking pictures from the deck, some were just really spectacular. The house was exactly as pictured, clean and ready for us to enjoy our stay. We appreciated it so much. I've told all my friends about it.

The house is equipped with everything you need to feel like at home. We had a great time and we will definitely consider coming back.

It's always concerning to stay at a place with few reviews. Hopefully, I can assuage your concerns a bit. From what I understand, it has few reviews on AirBnb because it's been on vr bo & others. This was my 28th airbnb over 10 years, and I'm pretty sure that it's in the top 5. The place really is excellent, perfect for the 3 different couples that were traveling together. Great communal areas, spotless, very well appointed kitchen, nice pool, killer AC. Esteban, the local host, was amazingly responsive for the few typical items that we needed input on and actually made the stay even nicer. If we're back in Dominical, we'll 100% be reaching out to stay here again.

Very nice place with a beautiful view. It is easy to get to and centrally located with lots of things to see and do near by. It is well maintained. The bedrooms are on the small side, as are the double beds. The host was extremely helpful. We had the local waterfall to ourselves most mornings. Sometimes monkeys and Toucans joined us.

Beautiful property and extraordinary views. Liberty was a very responsive and gracious host, we truly enjoyed our stay, the pool and the tower which was where we hung out most! Grocery stores and restaurants were available within a short distance, although we cooked a lot on property, we even got to experience a local festival.

This villa was fantastic!! The host was very responsive and gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and activities. They referred to us a private chef and he was AWESOME! They also referred to us a person to come to the villa and do a private yoga class for us which was incredible. Lastly they referred us to a tour guide for which we booked several excursions with. We felt like we were home. The only thing we didn’t like was the drive up the hill at night because it’s really scary and we made a couple wrong turns and there are several cliffs . That’s not even really a negative but just something to beware of. The concierge Augustine was very helpful as well and he lived very close to the home and assisted with anything we needed . I am a travel agent and world traveler and this is definitely one of my top 5 favorite. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We loved staying here, we were a group with four little ones and it was a great spot to spend the week while exploring the natural wonders that Costa Rica has to offer. The house itself is gorgeous and a short walk to a beautiful baby friendly beach (just be ware that this walk is not stroller friendly). Our host David and Carlos were both extremely responsive and helpful giving us recommendations and booking some activities for us. We used the chefs for a few nights who made us delicious Costa Rican food (chef Freddy and chef Carlos were amazing!) and the cleaning service was so helpful for keeping a house full of little kids clean and sand free. The only thing I would mention for future families is that the balcony (which is beautiful and often times visited by local monkeys) is set into a cliff and requires very watchful eyes to make sure the little ones don’t get too close to the railing. Just something to consider, Overall wonderful stay here and would highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place. Paradise Pictures don’t do it justice. Sitting on the patio having coffee every morning listening to the sounds of the rainforest is a truly incredible experience. Everything you need is here. There’s a small marketplace and 2 spectacular restaurants about 500meters up the hill. You can walk to them but you better be in great shape. I would recommend driving. Also highly recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle.

I had the most amazing week here with my two teenage daughters. The house, spread across three floors, provided plenty of extra space, but what truly made it unforgettable was the breathtaking location and ocean view—absolutely worth it. Lorenzo, the host, was fantastic—always available and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my first big adventure with my daughters was a memorable one. This trip was something I had been waiting to do until my girls were old enough to embrace long days of exploring and take on thrilling excursions like zip-lining, whitewater rafting, and scuba diving. The villa’s location made everything incredibly convenient—just steps away from a bank, grocery store, wine shop, and some incredible restaurants like Terraza, Emilios, Le Papillon, and Tico Times. If you’re looking to wake up to monkeys, toucans, macaws, and sloths right off your balcony—peeking at you through your screen doors—this is your place

We had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb! From the beginning, our host, Giovanna, was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She was always quick to reply to our messages and went above and beyond with fantastic recommendations for things to do in the area. The home itself was nothing short of spectacular. It was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with every detail considered. The amenities were truly over the top, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable in every way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, home or host, and would absolutely stay here again.

Great spot, loved it, lots to do and close to what we wanted to do at coast without quite the people or super hot temps of being right at the beach.

This was a lovely place to experience! The architecture of the house allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of our surroundings. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.

The host went above and beyond, very well in communication and made us feel right at home. Coordinated when we needed some cleaning done during our stay and assisted when picking up our vehicle took much longer than expected after our designated check in. They made sure we were able to find the location of the property since we came in the middle of the night. would love to come and stay again in the future.

Everything about this experience was a dream. The house is even better in person and the hosts were so easy to work with and made our experience seamless. They arranged our transportation to/from the airport and the rental car booking and delivery (which you will need), making it easy to immediately go into vacation mode. Highly recommend getting a private chef for a night or two - the food was delicious and locally sourced, giving an authentic experience. The shopping center (literally behind the house) had a well-stocked market and two good restaurants, Sibu and Scala. Get the traditional breakfast at Sibu - it was amazing. The hosts were very responsive no matter the time. The location is great - next to different beaches and central to restaurants, grocery stores, and other attractions. Waking up amongst the tucans and natural wildlife was amazing. This was an unforgettable vacation, largely due to the house and our hosts. Book this for your vacation - you won't regret it.
