Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Manistee

I had such a lovely stay at Mia’s Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. Mia was a wonderful host responsive, kind, and welcoming. The location was perfect, quiet yet conveniently close to everything. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We were taking a road trip to celebrate our graduation and this was the perfect place! The host is very friendly and responsive. The house is kept very clean and everything was easy to find. It is exactly what you are paying for. We felt very safe and loved how private and peaceful it was. They gave great recommendations of things to do and place to eat. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We were very impressed with the thoughtfulness clearly put into each aspect of David’s place. From the very clean environment, to the flexible check in/check out times, to the fully stocked kitchen, pantry, and bathroom we had a very enjoyable stay! There were extra towels and sheets for each room as well as a linen closet stocked with additional blankets and pillows. David also provided a fully stocked Keurig station which was very convenient. We were very grateful the location provided easy walking/driving distance to most of our activities, it was a perfectly placed weekend getaway! Thank you for a wonderful stay.🙂

Tom and Monica's place was very cozy. You feel right at home immediately! They are thoughtful in the touches they have. There's everything you need to enjoy a family get away at the lake. It's a cozy mix of new and old. Beds are on the softer side but very comfortable. We would stay again coming to Manistee.

The house was fantastic! An architect/designers dream Airbnb. Minimalistic and organized, clutter free with focus on the beautiful woods that the house is nestled in. The outdoor room was perfect for grilling and hanging outside with a bottle of wine.

Amazing place to stay at such a reasonable price! Very old home with necessary remodels, cozy with antique charm. Had just what we needed for a weekend stay.

We came up here to play Arcadia Bluffs and this was a perfect spot to relax in-between. The space had numerous outdoor areas to eat/hang out and was completely private. The beds are on opposite ends of the house, each with their own bathroom, perfect for 2 couples or a family.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Angela’s property. So many beautiful plants and everything was so clean and well maintained outside. A real oasis. The room was very clean and the linens smelled so good. I am a germaphobe and I never felt uncomfortable staying there. It was near so many attractions while also being very private and peaceful —we spent every evening sitting on the beach just taking it all in. Can’t recommend enough!

Everything was perfect! the location and proximity to everything was convenient. The scenery around the apartment was amazing and tucked away to feel like a mini adventure and everything in the apartment was super clean so all in all we had an amazing time here!

Perfect fit for us. Beach & Park across the street. Walked to town for dinner @ Hamlin Restaurant, only place to eat on Sunday evening, exceptional food. Early in May 2025 cool winds but a sunny 2 days. Got a super picture of the sunset across the street from our room. Chairs outside our room, benches & picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors, friendly people walking & look @ the stars on a clear night.

This was our second stay at Ken and Rhonda’s. It is still as nice as we remembered. It was very clean- which is always appreciated. Our dogs loved laying outside and listening to the birds. Thank you for a peaceful place to stay up north!

Location was perfect for all of the up north adventures like sleeping bear dunes, Leelanau Peninsula, hiking, golfing, and of course Lake Michigan. This spot was a perfect quiet retreat at the end of the busy days, and had stunning views! I would happily stay here again.

We had a great time in Traverse City, and Jeffrey’s place proved the ideal home base. It was spacious, comfortable, and located in the heart of the action. Too, Jeffrey was incredibly responsive and helpful. Great stay all around.

They are fantastic hosts and were lovely to be around. Absolutely on the short list for long weekends again in the future.

This was a great find for us. Right across from a dog park, right near downtown, kitty corner from Tilley's Party store, next to the Dairy Lodge soft serve place, easy to walk or drive downtown, across the street from one of the oldest taverns in the state, parking for one vehicle onsite. The space itself is compact but more than adequate, compatible to a hotel one bedroom suite with full size kitchen. Karla is a good communicator and easy going. the place was clean and ready to go. Super comfy bed and great shower.

The most relaxing and laid back vacation we have had in a while! Jody’s place had everything you could ever need and ask for, from toothpaste to spices in the kitchen and everything in between! I have truly never been to a better equipped airbnb. We had the most lovely time here, comfortable beds, inviting beautiful space and a gorgeous balcony. I cant say enough good things about this place! The only con at all would be the noise of the businesses/customers below which isnt even a problem because their hours of operation are perfect as we are out exploring during their open/busy times. The airbnb was very close to everything we wanted to do which was very convenient. The complimentary treats were such a nice touch and so delicious! You even get a discount at the gelato and chocolate shops below. We enjoyed gelato, coffee and chocolates everyday of our stay. Empire beach is walking distance and was a beautiful spot to catch a sunset. I highly recommend staying here, we will be back!

Fantastic place to stay! It was exactly how the photos described it and had everything anyone would need for an overnight/week stay. I was extremely happy with this place :) beautiful and quiet beachfront was great.

Great condo with everything you need and felt new. Very comfortable and clean. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful location, perfect getaway.

Myself and two others spent a long weekend up in Traverse City to play golf for a few days and loved our stay at TC Rooftop Rental’s! Place was very well kept and offered all of the amenities as advertised. Extremely responsive and helpful hosts as well, would definitely recommend.

Lovely place at the commons! Great space and great vibe

Kara was very responsive. The air conditioning was not working but they had someone out and it was fixed the same day. It was not as close to downtown as I would have liked but that was my fault for not completely checking out the location. Fantastic shower. Lots of room and super close to the bike trails. And gorgeous view of the water.

This place gets all the stars available! So clean, beautiful and convenient. Just a Wow!!!
