Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Manistee

We were looking for a place that was close to everything in Ludington and this was the perfect spot. The check-in and checkout was super easy. The host updated us on things pertaining to the property ahead of time, including scheduled maintenance. And the house is very clean and comfortable. We try to make going to Ludington an annual thing and we would definitely stay here again.

Amazing place to stay at such a reasonable price! Very old home with necessary remodels, cozy with antique charm. Had just what we needed for a weekend stay.

This was an incredible experience. Brenden helped me out when I was in a panic about where to stay after a previous reservation had fallen through. Very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The property was beautiful and house was clean. Garage was spacious and rooms were perfect for guests we had. The only bummer was the rain all weekend to not enjoy the outdoors/lake but the company was good! Would highly recommend not only this property but Brenden as a host!

This place has it all if you are looking for peace and tranquility. A beautiful view of Hamlin Lake and trees surrounding the area. There is no way that you can go wrong here. Plan on spending at least 10 days in Ludington if you are a first timer. The Ludington State Park will keep you occupied for three days at least. If you are a boater, there are many places to rent one along the upper and lower bayous. In the summer, stretch out over the beach on lake Michigan a short distance away. All in all, the best place to stay in the Ludington area.

We had a nice time staying for a long weekend! Even in April, the views of the surrounding woods through the large windows was great.

Very cute stay! Very clean, somewhat sparse kitchen amenities, but enough for us to prep and cook a meal. The ductless AC/hearing units were tricky to figure out. Most importantly, both bathrooms are on the main floor, which is not clear from the listing. This meant my friend who cannot do stairs without assistance slept on the couch downstairs so she didn’t have to wake us up if when she needed the restroom. Overall a very nice place, but wish a couple things had been more clear.

Paul was great. Responsive and helpful. Had a couple of questions about how things worked while we were there and he responded within minutes. Solid sleeping for 10 without pullouts.

A precious space right in town that we enjoyed so much, only wishing we would have had more time. Incredible hosts providing great communication and information to make our short time so special. The space had everything one needs and we were super comfy. We cannot wait to return. Thank you so much!

Lovely place RIGHT on the lake. My husband and I went for a date weekend of ice fishing and relaxation. Yes-it was a perfect spot to walk out and fish despite the quantities of snow! Restaurants all right there in walking distance- hours are different than what is on menus or online so be aware. Very clean and cozy place that was spacious and warm. We will definitely keep it on our list for the future!

I couldn't have been happier with my stay at Stacey's. there's so much care to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. the noise machines and individual rooms A/C was like a dream. I traveled with my older mother who isn't as able bodied as she use to be and I didn't have to worry about her falling in the shower or not being able to get on and off the furniture. this place was also so close to everything! if it has been into the warmer season it would have been perfect for a beach lover!

Incredibly cute apartment within walking distance to the main area on Front St. Troy provided plenty of instructions for parking and getting in and made sure to check in periodically via the app to make sure I had everything I needed. There was even a welcome cider waiting when I arrived. Individual hotel-esque soap kits were provided from Sojo.

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

I loved this room even better than the last it a very amazing space!

Evan was a responsive and friendly host and reached out to us at check-in, mid-stay, and checkout to make sure we were all set throughout our stay. For those with mobility concerns, the unit is on the second floor, so you do have to climb a flight of carpeted stairs. Also note that the walls are a bit thin, so we could hear our downstairs neighbors and dog quite clearly, something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise. These were both non-issues for us though, so we had a wonderful stay overall! Their place was no-frills, clean, and cozy.

We loved our stay here! Ken and Rhonda were the perfect hosts, they were very flexible with check in and check out times and available to us during our stay. The stay is in a renovated garage next to their house, but we felt like we had lots of privacy and the setting with the pond and lots of land is wonderful. Everything seemed new, clean, and comfy, with lots of games that our kid loved. We loved the location, it felt remote but was also very convenient to everything we like to do in the area!

We have stayed in Capri before and love the location! The apartment is so secure, there is a code to get into the building itself and then a different code for the apartment specifically. It’s easy to find, cozy inside, and the bed was very comfortable. What I loved about this host is that there was nothing to do for check out other than to ensure that the doors were locked and the lights were out. They made our stay incredibly easy! We will definitely stay here again in the future, I highly recommend this location.

Such a nice dwelling, clean and quiet - I was very happy with the accomodations...

This unit has a great location that is a short walk to the downtown. Checking in went smoothly and the unit was well maintained.

This is a beautifully designed condo with lots of spaces for a group to be together (large table, kitchen island stools, and sitting area). We loved the location of the condo because we could walk to restaurants, shops and family who were also staying in the Village. Accessing the unit is a bit complicated but the directions given are well done and easily followed, but you need to have those directions available to you for your first time into the unit - after that first time, you will be fine. Also it is important to note that even with the elevator, everyone staying in the unit will have to negotiate a single flight of stairs with suitcase, either up a traditional staircase or the metal spiral staircase. We would highly recommend this unit.

Lovely little condo and it is the first door closest to the parking garage. Then only up half a flight of stairs and you were there. Only downfall was parking - the lot out back has less than 20 spaces, some of them handicapped. So we had to pay the $20/day to park overnight in the garage next door. The back parking lot was also not plowed well at all so walking thru on your way to places was a bit treacherous in December. But, all things out of the owner's control. Everything inside was pristine and beautiful. p Plenty of extra blankets and pillows too!

Julie’s space was prefect for a little getaway. Plenty of room and a big kitchen. The location was about a 8 minute walk to the downtown which was easily accessible. Julie was communicative and left some recommendations. Would definitely come back!

We had a great stay at Spring's place! You can't beat the location and everything was clean and easily communicated. Would love to stay again some time!
