This may be one of my new favorite Air BNB spots! It is very comfortable and close to a lot of spots in Traverse City. The beach view was also very nice to look at. Kara is a great host and provided us with clear check in and check out instructions. Will definitely be visiting again!

The outdoor pool area is framed by a scenic view of the three-story building, which features large windows and balconies. Lush greenery and vibrant flowers adorn the surrounding landscape, creating an inviting atmosphere. The clear water of the pool reflects the blue sky and architecture.

It was a very cozy place, clean and tidy, loved the area, everything was amazing. I will say, I stayed in unit 696, diagonally below that unit there was an older couple not sure if they actually live there or what but they had two chihuahuas that barked their heads off every time they seen someone walk by, I’m an avid dog lover so this did not bother me, but might bother someone else going to stay there. Aside from seeing people and barking they were completely silent the rest of the time. Cute place anyways, loved the shanty bar down the road, really nice people cute little place, nice golf course, walking trails, very quiet area. Downtown was pretty even though there isn’t a ton to do. That was the point of our trip to not do anything 😂, having the pool pass was nice but we didn’t get to use it we were told the pool was open until 11pm on Saturday and they were closed by 9 when we got there for cleaning so that sucked. Overall I would stay again!

Our stay at Frank's place could not have been more comfortable or relaxing. The inside was super clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. We liked the spacious, open living/dining/kitchen area, nice furniture, and comfortable beds. But we especially enjoyed the large front deck, huge umbrella that kept us shaded, pocket views of the lake, grill/griddle combo, outdoor shower, and having the pickleball courts a short walk away. Frank is a super friendly and very responsive host. He genuinely wanted to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, which we did! We look for to renting from him again next year for 2 weeks! Thanks for everything, Frank!

Had a great time ringing in the new year at shanty creek! Condo is within walking distance to several small restaurants and bars, as well as lakeview hotel. Bellaire is within a ten minute drive with more bar/restaurants, groceries, shops, etc. Was unseasonably warm, so snow conditions were poor, but still had a great time hiking all of the nearby trails. Especially glacial hills; most well marked trails we’ve ever been on with beautiful views and over 30 miles of different trails. Will definitely be back to explore this area more, as lots of golf courses, torch lake and the chain of lakes are also very close by! Hosts were very responsive and gave good recommendations of things to do and where to go based on our interests!

Deborah’s place was perfect for our family of four. We had a great view of the mountain and were close enough to walk to the lifts. The place was clean and cozy and Deborah provided a ton of items incase we forgot anything. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed and the washer and dryer were a life saver. We will definitely be coming back!

Next time we are in traverse city we will definitely try to book this place again. The views were stunning and the apartment was well suited for our family. It was very welcoming. The host Katy is great and even left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift along with some coffee from Mundos.

My family and I really enjoyed Brian’s place. There was plenty of room for all our ski gear and only 3 mins to the mountain. Having access to the Schuss hot tub was a bonus. There are plenty of board games available and the internet worked well. This has been one of our favorite Airbnbs during the ski season.

Just back from a 3 night stay at Hall's Haven and it was a perfect spot for our two families of 4, ages 7 thru 50! The welcome treats were such a nice added touch and much appreciated. Lots of space for kids and adults to spread out and plenty of toys and games for everyone. Lots of space for ski gear too! We loved having fires and cooking big meals together in the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. There was SO much snow and every window had a beautiful view of the snowy woods. Quiet, lovely neighborhood near the Lakeview Inn and just 5 minutes to Schuss Village for skiing. The sauna was an added luxury after a day of skiing! We had the best weekend together! Thank you Clare and Trevor!

Chelsea was an excellent host. The house was perfect for our group. She always responded promptly and was extremely helpful. The house is located conveniently from downtown Bellaire and was very comfortable to live in. highly recommend this serene woodland getaway.

Wonderful place for the right price! We’ve stayed here for the last 5 years under various owners/hosts via AirBnB and it’s always been perfect. Great rates under the new owner and a huge space, especially if it’s just a couple like us. Great private pool for this building that we never had to share and right next to the Lakeview hotel and Shanty Bar for food and drinks. Huge points for the wood burning fireplace and abundance of firewood. Host is responsive, but also left us completely alone unless we reached out which we appreciate. 10/10 would stay again! Best AirBnB on Shanty Creek Property!

Absolutely the perfect place to find your inner peace and re-energize! The Nest is exactly that. It is so warm, comfortable and secure that it just so serene. The view is almost undesirable as it took my breath away and brought happy tears to my eyes. As a 60 year old mom of 2 amazing kiddos 11 and 9 who are both Neurodivergent it was the best medicine for my heart and soul. We will be back hopefully many times as both of my kiddos felt right at home. My husband as well was in awe of this Treasure I was able to find. Thank you Charlie and Suzy for allowing our little family enjoy something that never would have imagine as possible for us. it was heaven on earth.
