Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Manistee County

My family and I had plenty of space and everything we needed at this house. Our second time staying here and even though it was not yet summer in this beautiful beach town, we never ran out of stuff to do. The house was so cozy and had everything we needed to cook dinner. It’s close enough to walk, but we drove down the road to the beach every evening to watch the sunset, and walked into town many times. Its proximity to both the beach and town is really convenient.

Meg and Rita should be elevated to above “Superhost”. The little pink house is clean quiet and nicely decorated. All hosts should be as responsive and thoughtful. Every wall switch was labeled to let me know which switch operated each particular light or room. AND every wall socket was fitted with an adapter outlet which was so helpful when traveling with multiple chargers for multiple devices. A great stay. I will definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Tom and Monica were unfazed that we brought 6 teens/tweens to hang out at their place for the weekend. It was a great place to bring our kids and their friends. Plenty of space to relax and spread out, and good gathering spaces to be together for meals and games. Super easy to get to everything-downtown is a great destination, easy to walk to.

Alicia is the best host ever. Always flexible if needed. I always feel right at home when I book with her. You need nothing other than your gear and clothes. Thank you for being such an amazing host for all the years I have been coming up there.

Marcus’s place was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. A high chair and baby gate were available for our toddler which made packing a whole lot easier! The kitchen was well stocked and made it really easy to prepare meals. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place to stay during our trip to Manistee. It was so cute inside, has a very homey feel! We stayed during the winter and it did take quite awhile to heat up, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a heavy sweater and cuddling up in some blankets. would definitely stay here again!

Great house with a friendly, responsive host. Had everything we needed and more. The garage use was a great bonus. We'll be returning anytime work brings us back to Manistee

Great place to stay in downtown Manistee, with close proximity to all that the city has to offer. I would highly recommend it and would certainly stay here again.

Two Lakes Lodge was the perfect place to kick off our Michigan trip! We loved it so much, we already booked our next stay! The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and in the absolute best location. Right in the heart of town! Walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop, local markets, and ice cream! We noticed a few reviews mention water pressure or a sulfur smell, but we simply followed the host’s tip to run the water for a few minutes when we arrived and we had zero issues. The water was hot, pressure was great, and everything worked perfectly. Truly a wonderful stay. You won’t be disappointed!

Andy's place was amazing and comfortable! This was probably our favorite stay on Airbnb! It was exceedingly clean, and it had everything we needed! Andrew was extremely friendly and WE WILL BE BACK! Look no further- it was super close to Bear Lake and a short drive to Crystal Mountain. I cant say enough about the cleanliness and hospitality! A+!!!! Thanks for everything, Andrew!

We've stayed a few times with Dave and always love our time here. He is very responsive to questions, makes excellent suggestions, and even provides a holiday touch. We love staying here with access to the kayaks on Portage Lake in the summer and the beautiful views year-round.

Evan was a responsive and friendly host and reached out to us at check-in, mid-stay, and checkout to make sure we were all set throughout our stay. For those with mobility concerns, the unit is on the second floor, so you do have to climb a flight of carpeted stairs. Also note that the walls are a bit thin, so we could hear our downstairs neighbors and dog quite clearly, something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to noise. These were both non-issues for us though, so we had a wonderful stay overall! Their place was no-frills, clean, and cozy.

Felicia's rental unit is better than the photos! :) It is peaceful, calm, and in a picturesque part of Manistee. The unit has great windows: in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. There is so much great natural light that makes this place feel extra special and homey. Spacious and comfortable. Comfortable bed and furniture. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen. Relaxing bathtub. I stayed here for a long weekend as a solo traveler, and I can't wait to return for another stay. It would be a great place for a longer stay as well. Felicia was a proactive and gracious host. She thoughtfully provided pasta and sauce to cook (which I used!). She also let me park in the driveway during the snowy weekend, which was much appreciated. Lovely stay! Can't sing enough praises!

I would return in a heartbeat! This home was clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated, and we felt right at home. We had exactly what we needed for 3 nights for a small getaway. The community pool and hot tub were very nice as well. Can't wait to come back for another visit.

Great place to stay that was super close and walkable to Buck lift. It was so convenient and the condo was a great size for our family and grandparents that came along. Would stay again!

The condo is modern and very spacious. It is conveniently located near a mini market in Onekema. All the amenities of the condo are great. One drawback for some guests could be the condo is located at the top of a tall staircase. Our family would book this property again.

We’ve been coming up to Michigan from Southeast MO for 30 years and have always loved our stay in Harbor Village. The community is always a great place for families, beautiful marina and beach with lots to do at the condos’ amenities. This condo was great for us and our two kids, as well as my brother and sister-in-law to share. Loved the large kitchen table, big couch, and fully stocked kitchen! The condo itself was very clean! Phil was very responsive with any questions I had. We had ZERO issues whatsoever during our trip thanks to their great planning! Can’t wait to return!

Diane's place was the perfect location in downtown Manistee. The river walk was right outside of our door. Highly walkable to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The apartment was lovely. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at James' place! The view of Portage Lake from the property was breathtaking, and the overall experience was top-notch. James and Lillian were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The attention to detail, the cozy atmosphere, and their warm hospitality truly made this trip unforgettable. I can't wait to return and enjoy another stay in this incredible Airbnb. Visited Onekama for a wedding there at the inn. Was a perfect place - perfect weather - perfect weekend. Hope to come back again soon.
