Great place to stay. Close to the beach and downtown. We went in the off season so the crowd was light. The place is clean, inviting, and has all the amenities you would need. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub so I can’t speak on that but they seemed nice. Troy was responsive to all of my questions, great host.

This is our second time to visit this great place. Jena and John are the best hosts. We feel like in our own home and the area is just beautiful. The house has everything, it is very clean and nice. We are sure we are coming back during the summer months to enjoy the good weather. Thanks again for sharing such a great place!!!

Absolutely amazing stay! I don’t even know where to start. Not only were the hosts very responsive, but they were so respectful and kind. The property was gorgeous, a dream. The garage had every bar game you could ask for, on top of the gorgeous design of the home. The neighborhood was cute and quaint, as well. The bedrooms and bathrooms had everything you could need and more. We had six guests, and we could have fit even more on top of that. The area also had a lot of fun things to do. You could play 18 holes at Arcadia or enjoy a delicious cider at Northern Natural. Crystal mountain also has amazing spa services to check out. Definitely a 5 star stay, I could give it 6 if I could!

Had a girls weekend here; we enjoyed our stay fully! Excellent communication, easy to find. Master bedroom is big and has beautiful views. Beds are comfy- extra blankets which was great. Loved the roomy fridge. The porch overlooks the water and is nice. Close to beautiful trails in Arcadia for hiking and not far from Manistee. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay at the Lake house was everything we had hoped for - peaceful, relaxing, and comfortable. The wood burning fire place and sound of the waves made for a perfect getaway.

We've stayed a few times with Dave and always love our time here. He is very responsive to questions, makes excellent suggestions, and even provides a holiday touch. We love staying here with access to the kayaks on Portage Lake in the summer and the beautiful views year-round.

Two Lakes Lodge was the perfect place to kick off our Michigan trip! We loved it so much, we already booked our next stay! The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and in the absolute best location. Right in the heart of town! Walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop, local markets, and ice cream! We noticed a few reviews mention water pressure or a sulfur smell, but we simply followed the host’s tip to run the water for a few minutes when we arrived and we had zero issues. The water was hot, pressure was great, and everything worked perfectly. Truly a wonderful stay. You won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I loved staying here over the winter holiday. It was very well-thought out design in such a small space and most things we needed for our stay were included by the host. It seems like they thought of everything and we agreed that this would be a very nice place to stay in the summertime. The only thing I’ll say is that I don’t think the Airbnb could sleep 4 - when the Murphy bed is down, there isn’t much room remaining. We were very comfortable but we are two fairly small people. This is an excellent space for a couple! Thank you again.

This place is cute as a button with the layout and decorations! Not overly big or too small - just right! During the summer, it would be even more awesome being on the lake as this place and has kayaks and paddle boards! I really wish it had been warmer so I could have used them. Nice fire pit too. Books! Lots to choose from! My mom and I really enjoyed it! I look forward to coming back for each of the seasons!

Our son was moving to the area and needed a place to stay while work was done on his new home. Jeri’s darling and comfortable home was a great place to stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything he could possibly need! Jeri has gone above and beyond with her great communication and sharing information. The home and surrounding yard and lakefront were all beautiful and as pictured. The home was clean, check in was easy, and our family was happy to have some of the little extras available (beach towels, lawn games).

Awesome place! We came for my wife’s birthday/color tour and this place did not disappoint. Had everything we needed and more. Everything was spotless which is usually the first thing we check. The views from both patios were perfect for our morning coffee.

Shawn’s little place was the best little getaway for my family of three. Close to the 5th St. Beach and downtown Manistee. Home was clean and tidy. Super great to have two bathrooms in a house this size. Thanks Shawn!

Home was exactly as described. We had a group that went for steelhead fishing and it was about 20 minutes to the dam. Home had everything we needed for our stay. Very east check in, clean house, very large shower and cozy living room. Cozy Kitchen is great option for breakfast or lunch, Tracks Bar in Brethern or the Redneck Yacht Club are good choices for dinner. You can also take a drive into Manistee for shopping and restaurant options as well. I would definitely stay here again for another fishing trip.

Deborah’s cottage was the perfect place for a Lake Michigan experience! We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, peaceful mornings on the back deck/swing, & all the special touches that had been added to the cottage. It was the cleanest and most well-stocked vacation rental my family has have ever stayed in. Deborah went out of her way to make us feel welcome & right at home. We are already missing the uncrowded beach, cool Michigan temps, & relaxing living room fan!
