I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was a pleasant stay. This air bnb has multiple benefits such as being spacious, clean, and very private. Karen was welcoming and was there if we needed to coordinate parking, but also allowed for complete privacy and we mostly interacted in passing. The house is situated in a very quiet neighborhood only a few streets away from main street montclair. When I needed to grab food it was a nice and easy 10 minute walk! The three rooms were clean and I found no issues with anything. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area!

Great for a quick stay

This place feels like home. It’s literally a place to visit like a museum the building the furnitures and everything is so cool and insane. We went to celebrate new years in NYC and we stayed at this amazing place for 2 nights which we regretted about we wanted to say more. The hosts were so nice, friendly and welcoming. It was really nice meeting them . We definitely recommend this place friends and families. Thanks so much.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed here and, once again, was the perfect place to stay. Close to Seton Hall and our kid's home but far enough away you don't have to deal with college kids craziness. Art and Libby were extremely accommodating, to the point that we were able to have an extra car on the property filled with our kid's belongings for the final move out

Tendai was a great host, she was always available to solve our needs and questions and offer very clear instructions during our stay. She will always look out for you and make sure you feel like home. There is one person that lives in the house that is making sure everything works and is clean, which we found very useful. The place is clean, safe and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, in fact, we basically lived there for our full long stay and we cooked almost everyday and we didn't have any complaints about the kitchen. The room is spacious, the bed is really comfortable and the bathroom is small but complete. The house is close to gyms, supermarkets, and restaurants. The train station is a 20 minutes walk and the transport to NYC is very easy. I highly recommend Tendai's house if you're looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay👌🏻

Simply put, the place is gorgeous. I’d love to see the grounds during the summer when the pool is open as well. Would recommend.

Clean and comfy! Enjoyed my stay.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay. The host was very attentive. I love the idea of the breakfast included but wish they had more of a variety. Wish the tv in our room was bigger in size but everything else was great. Service was very pleasant and welcoming. They had complementary snacks and a comfortable bed. You will enjoy your stay if you are looking for a peaceful place for a couple of days. We will be coming back! Thank you!

Really lovely location and the private entrance was perfect for us being on the move all weekend. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is refreshing and the breakfast each morning on the patio was the best way to start our day. All the staff we spoke with were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. What a relaxing trip!

I'm not from the area so it started a bit rough for me but overall the host was very responsive and stayed cordial despite that. The host also did very well checking in to ensure that the guests had everything they all needed. I do appreciate the experience and I'd definitely book again if I'm ever in the area.

Clean, and centrally located. There are shops on the long stip of Bloomfied Avenue. Take the 11, 28, 29 and 72 bus to and from Newark Penn Station.

Tonja and Tracey have the most incredible home! This is by far the most wonderful airbnb I've experienced. My colleague and I stayed here on a work trip twice and would go back in a heartbeat. The space is absolutely gorgeous, and all the details make you feel relaxed and completely comfortable. Beyond the beautiful, peaceful space, Tracey and Tonja are wonderful hosts -- warm, responsive, and thoughtful in every way. I truly can't wait to go back! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience!

I’ve been thinking about writing this review since the moment I checked into Tracey and Tonja’s BNB. Let me say, this has been by far the best experience I have had via Airbnb and I am very grateful. This is the charm and hospitality staying at a bnb used to have before it became the capitalist, money hungry system it now has become. Tonja and Tracey as such kind and beautiful people. They were beyond hospitable; explained the property and gave me a tour upon arrival, always available if I needed them, and had an incredible energy to match their charming home. The place is so beautiful and the photos do not do it justice! From the cozy library, to the meditation room, to the suites - everything is perfectly decorated and curated to provide you an atmosphere of peace. My favorite was the soak tub which I was in desperate need of after a stressful few weeks of travel. This was the most perfect place to recharge as a part of my new year self care rituals. I will definitely be back soon.

What do I say that hasn't already been said? There's a reason this place gets so highly reviewed, it's because it's AMAZING. As a mom of three, I just wanted to get away with some peace and comfort and I got all that and more. The bedroom was so comfortable and the bathroom is NEXT LEVEL amazing (seriously, I'm not much of a bathroom gal but I could've just spent all day in there). All this and the little things make this place a gem...like the snacks, breakfast and extra comforts in the bedroom (robe, extra towels, etc). I went into NYC everyday and had no problems with public transportation. If you are a solo female traveler I highly recommend you book this, I can't wait to come back one day!!

David is welcoming and helpful; this is a great place to stay if you are needing to be in the vicinity (for me, visiting elder and getting some work done during parts of days). The room is cozy and clean, comfortable bed and good desk -- along with bits of friendly conversation, it suited me well. I'll be checking availability next time I'm back in the area.

Luis was very responsive. Explained everything throughly. Gave you your space after check-in unless you had questions. Overall I would use this Airbnb again!
