Monthly Rentals in Mahana Beach

Ka'Haiya's place had a great zen energy, located in one of the last unspoiled corners of the Big Island, you can really disconnect and relax. Green Sand Beach is an adventure just down the road, Black Sand Beach is a quick drive. Being in the South Point, you have equal distance to go East to Volcano National Park or West to all the beautiful beaches. We also covered Mauna Kea summit and the East Coast on our short 5 days stay. Ka'Haiya is a perfect host, quick to respond and offered us great suggestions; we enjoyed sampling the fresh exotic fruits at her farm stand.

What a true respite from the hustle and bustle. Although the lodgings were somewhat humble, everything was comfortable and the setting was amazing! The grounds of the property are a true oasis of Hawaiian flora - ask for the tour! Amazing and knowledgable hosts who so graciously honored this request.

This is a perfect stopover between Kona and Hilo, and is a manageable distance from the Volcanoes National Park. The room is very clean, very private and you have enough space to park your in the drive way. We like the ambience as it's situated right in the middle of a golf course. Debby has been a great host and prepared for our late arrival.

Beautiful property in Naalehu. Pretty easy to find and there’s a sign that says “Park Here” on the lawn, which is very helpful. Fresh fruit upon our arrival. Paul was very responsive to all my messages. This is about a 20 min drive to the southern most point in the US and to the Green Sand beach hike. Farmers market every Wednesday in Naalehu is really neat. The space is as described and perfect for 2 people. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m on this side of the island! There’s a washer and drier in the unit too, which is a bonus!
