Vacation rentals in Magnac-Laval

A beautiful castle that has retained its authenticity. Some may find the "hunting trophies" decoration a little too much. Nevertheless, they are only in passageways and not in the rooms, which is absolutely not disturbing. The exteriors are superb, with a big crush on the pool area where we spent half of the stay.

We had a lovely 8 days. Living room, dining / kitchen are rather large and well equipped. The number of bedrooms was satisfactory for us 8, the 2 downstairs bedrooms being larger and benefiting from their own shower room. The east/west exposure of the house makes it clear and you protect yourself from the heat by closing the shutters on either side. The outdoor spaces are really good: large terrace with two tables and umbrellas for eating out, and large lawn to feel offshore and let the kids run. The hamlet is very quiet. The proximity to the beach is a real asset for young and old, with a beautiful viewpoint on the Creuse, a welcoming lawn with shade if you wish, enough to buy ice cream or even eat, and rent paddle board etc. The sites of the Valley of the painters are very close by car: Gargilesse, Crozant, Chambon. And Argenton/C, the Eguzon Dam. Very beautiful and interesting.

Great value for money, walking distance to village and nature. Free parking in drive in front of house.

Michelle is a very welcoming host, she had everything planned for our arrival. Accommodation faithful to the photos, there is a small courtyard to park your vehicle in front of the accommodation and small private garden with picnic table to be able to enjoy the outdoors and all this in peace. We had a great time in our time and recommend this place. A little extra that is really very pleasant, breakfast with fresh bread and homemade jam, a treat! 😍

Thomas is a warm, generous and attentive host to the well-being of his tenants. His house is in his image, we immediately felt very comfortable there, children and adults alike. We had a pleasant stay in a beautiful rejuvenating environment, and luckily a bright sun offered us beautiful sunset lights.

Constance sent us the GPS coordinates that Google Maps can find without any problems. We spent 2 nights and were able to enjoy walks around the house and around the lake by starting directly on foot, so excellent, because the garden is too steep and not accessible in winter (marsh). Excellent terrace with unobstructed lake views. The 2 stoves work very well and there are good mattresses / duvets. Thanks again to Constance for her availability, kindness and professionalism (we had forgotten a blanket which was returned to us as soon as possible!)

Very good stay in the countryside, Sylvie was very welcoming, the place was very quiet. Flawless accommodation, very clean, the only small downside was that we were a little cold at night.
