A simply wonderful stay at The Old Coo Shed. The spacious and comfortable accommodation is family run with the Hosts on-site. They are incredibly attentive, and finishing touches like the homemade jam and fresh duck eggs were a really lovely touch and made for a memorable stay. They were able to assist with transport options which was hugely helpful. These places set the benchmark other Airbnbs should aspire to.

I stayed for 2 nights to explore Speyside and had a wonderful time. The accommodation was spacious, private, and well-equipped with everything you’d need for a short stay. Even though it’s attached to Sarah’s house, it feels completely separate with its own entrance. Most places I visited were within a 10–20 minute drive, including a big Tesco in Keith. Highlights included Ballindalloch Distillery – small, intimate, and rich in history – and the Speyside Cooperage, where you can watch casks being rebuilt in front of you. I also enjoyed driving past Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, and Aberlour. Near Aberlour Distillery, there's a great short walk to Linn Falls, with the scent of whisky in the air and new distillery buildings to spot. A perfect base for a Speyside trip – I’d definitely stay again.

I can't recommend Islas Cottage enough! We were travelling for work and stayed for two nights. The cottage was pristine and felt like a home from home! We loved it! Forbes was fantastic, keeping us updated and leaving some delicious goodies for our stay. We will definitely be back and I will be recommending to friends and family. Very comfortable house which entirely suited our needs as a convenient centre for touring Speyside and walks along the river.
