Great place to stay, Obu was very communicative and was able to help me out with anything I needed during my stay. Good quiet area, plenty of stuff to do around as well. Place matched the pictures and was everything I needed. 10/10

It’s a nice place. Extra bath towels and an extra blanket would have been nice. But for sure I would rent this place again.

I would give 6 stars if I could. Maxine was absolutely amazing and a delight. The apartment was really cool and relaxing. It is my new home in Detroit when I go to visit. They were more than just hosts that had a place. Maxine makes you feel welcome and is a delight to work with. Thank you so much for everything!

It’s a very quiet area! Slept like a baby, the apartment was cute and home feeling. Check in and check out was smooth sailing, it was a pleasure to stay there and would definitely come back.

Sal was very accommodating and very responsive. We all were here for an unfortunate and unexpected event and Sal was more than accommodating for the curve balls that were thrown our way. The place definitely ironed out the details of what a visitor would need and want. Thanks again for being so accommodating. I don't find myself coming here again but if I did...without a doubt I would stay in Sal's place

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! Also can dock quickly can grab some lunch or anything you forgot on boat! Thanks Again Holly & some fisherman from Ohio

I stayed for more than a month ,everything was very quiet, the host always responded quickly when I needed it and very friendly Everything is very nice and clean. I would definitely go back to this place

Whether you fish or just want to stay at a conveniently located place surrounded by good eats and close to a local summer hotspot, this is your place. It is pet friendly and, with an air mattress, suites four. Internet access was great, no mechanical issues with the house. If you want to see the holiday lights on Jefferson avenue, it's two minutes away. Detroit Institute of Arts is 48 minutes, Armada about 1.5 hours. Sunrise at the very large MI DNR lot was stunning.

The beautiful restoration work on the exterior of the mansion is simply amazing. The interior was more modern than expected, but clean, bright, and well designed. The location was terrific. The Q-Line was truly within walking distance and we used it to go south on Woodward Ave. to shops and restaurants. We also picked were able to easily pick up the People Mover (after taking the Q-line south to Grand Circus Park) and move above locations on its route without driving. There are many architectural marvels within sight of the Edmond. Additionally there are restaurants, bars, and bakeries within distance as well. It was a very nice stay and a perfect location.

We really appreciated Jeff’s suggestions…tried Lena & loved it. So walkable to nearby restaurants, casino, Eastern Market & stadiums.

Have stayed here 3 times. This time however we had to cut it short due to illness in my family. Was hoping to get some sort of credit for the next time we stay.

Nice central location with easy street parking. A quick walk to DIA; we drove everywhere else. Space was bigger than we expected from the photos. Great kitchen!

This place was so clean and comfortable! The beds were great, and that is the one thing I do not slack on, b/c sleep is the most important! The place is super easy to get to, and parking was right there at the front door every time we came and went. Great decor, kitchen supplies, etc. 100% recommend! I thought being near a hospital we would hear ambulances, but we did not. Don't hesitate to book!

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed at! Excellent location to ball park, arena, and local restaurants. The condo was extremely clean upon arrival. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Beds and all other furniture was very comfy. Most notably, Sean was an incredible host. Provided an excellent digital guidebook as soon as booking was made. Was immediately responsive to any messages sent. Best of all, provided extra amenities within the condo which exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend this condo to anyone coming into Detroit!
