I was only in town for a short fishing trip and booked at the very last minute. It's not always easy finding the right place to stay when you're bringing a boat. Parking and security are always important considerations for me, and I had no problems whatsoever. Plenty of room for the boat, easy in and out, and an outlet right where I needed it to charge the batteries. And the location is fantastic, only a few minutes to the 2 boat ramps I like to use most. Being at the end of the road was nice and private, I never had to worry about my boat being outside all alone. The inside was very clean and had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfy, plenty of outlets close to the bed (which is hard to find sometimes), and a nice big TV in the living room. I could not stream from my phone to the TV, but that may just be my fault and I didn't try too hard. Not much more I could ask for except for more fish in the channel in back, so please work on that 😂

We spent two nights at this unique spot, the small waves from the passing canal boats and fishing boats kept the boat rocking gently and pleasantly. Being liveaboards ourselves, we found everything we needed - there's not much better than a sundowner on deck and a good night's sleep on the water after a long day on the road! Very friendly welcome and flexible hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Boathouse. I live locally but my parents were in town for the weekend and wanted a fun escape for them near our friends in Harrison Township and MacRay Harbor. The whole unit is fantastic and the beds are very comfortable (this is important at our age…ha ha!). We spent hours waving at boats going up and down the river. Shannon was a responsive and kind host. i have already recommended this place to friends.
