I was raised much of my younger years in New Baltimore. It's a great location near my family, high school friends, several restaurants, & the park on the bay. Many interesting area sites & museums are within an hour drive. Everything needed to be comfortable is within the unit. Gina, Thanks for being a good host.

I was only in town for a short fishing trip and booked at the very last minute. It's not always easy finding the right place to stay when you're bringing a boat. Parking and security are always important considerations for me, and I had no problems whatsoever. Plenty of room for the boat, easy in and out, and an outlet right where I needed it to charge the batteries. And the location is fantastic, only a few minutes to the 2 boat ramps I like to use most. Being at the end of the road was nice and private, I never had to worry about my boat being outside all alone. The inside was very clean and had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfy, plenty of outlets close to the bed (which is hard to find sometimes), and a nice big TV in the living room. I could not stream from my phone to the TV, but that may just be my fault and I didn't try too hard. Not much more I could ask for except for more fish in the channel in back, so please work on that 😂

Kris' place was great! It was clean, easily accessible, and situated in a prime location with hot water ;) . . . Kris was very welcoming and added thoughtful touches throughout the space, making it feel like a home away from home. The apartment had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect - just a short distance from downtown New Baltimore, with plenty of attractions, restaurants, and a serene lakeside walk nearby. Looking forward to returning soon!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible vacation getaway, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we booked, the host's communication was top-notch, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The property itself is a gem. There are plenty of garage and parking spaces, which made it super convenient for our group. The neighborhood is friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall charm of our stay. One of the highlights was having the lake canal water access. Also there was a new propane grill and fryer provided and the fish cleaning table was very convenientfor our group of fisherman. The decor of the home is stunning, with a beautiful beach feel that instantly put us in vacation mode. The amenities exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was provided, and then some! From the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living spaces, every detail was thoughtfully considered. Overall, this Airbnb fit all of our needs.

I have the best experience of my life at the lake house. It was my birthday and it’s always the coldest month of the year but this made it the best birthday Ive ever had. Beautiful inside and we spend to much time in the hot tub that was my highlight because I’m anemic and never felt warm and the beauty of the lake and lights at night was perfect.

This place is an absolute gem! The location is perfect, and the host is truly amazing—super responsive and welcoming. Everything is always spotless and well taken care of. We've already booked it for the third year in a row, and it just keeps getting better. The dock furniture and kayaks are a great bonus, making it easy to relax or explore the water. All around, just a fantastic spot. We love staying here and can’t recommend it enough!

Very comfortable stay, super clean & neat. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for simple hot meals. Relaxing hot tub just right for two, and oodles of clean towels. Really want to say I appreciate hosts like Jamieson who politely request a few reasonable housekeeping tasks of his guests, instead of long lists of required chores and exorbitant cleaning fees. Would definitely stay there again.

The condo is very nice and Sequoyah has added the extras that made my stay great. The bedding was really soft and comfortable and the bed was adjustable!! I thought the phone charger cords for any kind of cell phone was a thoughtful touch and I appreciated the small refrigerator in the room. I only wish I had brought the sign-in information for the TV apps I subscribe to to use on Roku. This place was not far from my event and near shopping and restaurants. At first, I was not sure about going upstairs, but it wasn’t a big flight or difficult. Sequoyah met me outside and helped me carry my stuff. I thought that was considerate. The price was very reasonable and would, definitely, stay here again.

This was our first visit and will certainly not be our last. We enjoyed the local colour and some of its establishments while taking in all the house had to offer in its rich history. Deborah, was an amazing host and the historic house was beautiful, even got to play the piano for a few moments. Without such an amazing place to stay, this might have been a bit of bust given the rain, but the accommodations were perfect making it well worth it. This is the type of place to disconnect from the busy-ness of it all and take in your loved ones. Internet access, yes, but no TV's, no distractions, phones away, enjoying one another and our company. The room had a quaint vibe with a perfect table to sit at and celebrate her birthday. I got to write and relax, again, it was amazing. Hopefully, if its available, we will be back this summer to enjoy even more. Thank you so much Deborah for having us.

Deborah was a great host! We loved going back in time and enjoying the house. The tour at the beginning of our stay was so informative. Time by the water was peaceful. The room was comfy and the place was much quieter than I expected. The hospitality was fabulous. The space in the fridge was appreciated. We were there before the peak season, so it was very budget friendly. I would recommend this for anyone who might like to unplug and enjoy the lake and good food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Black Walnut Inn. We booked the entire house for a weekend family get-away and it was perfect. The home is lovely and has been beautifully restored. So much attention to detail in the home and on the grounds. Our rooms were beautifully appointed. We had all we could want and more. Deborah is a most gracious host. Deborah and Jim's passion for their home and the history they were able to share with us was a bonus that added so much to our stay! We absolutely recommend The Black Walnut Inn and plan to visit again ourselves!

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great view of the river, across into Canada. The ice flow on St Clair River was spectacular, especially the Canada ice cutter working. We watched birds from out the living room window, swans, eagles, ducks and more. We highly recommend visiting here.

We had a great time at Jessie's place! Lovely, clean home on a quiet street, close to the lake. The kitchen and main bedroom were especially nice. My kids loved the bonus room at the top of the stairs and spent most of their time there! My in-laws were also very impressed. Fast, friendly communication with the host. We would definitely book again if we stay in that area in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place. The place is beautiful, updated, clean, and well equipped with everything for a fun summer stay—comfy beds, cozy sun room, a nice kitchen, a grill, a fire pit, beach chairs and towels, and easy access to the beach. Self check in and check out was easy, and the neighborhood was nice for walking with our dog. The guest book has other visitors’ useful tips for enjoying the area!

The house was beautifully done, furnished comfortably, and met our needs perfectly. We stayed during a winter storm and it was cozy and relaxing watching the snow fall. Our hosts made sure that the driveway and porch were cleared before we left. We were there during Valentine's weekend and they added extra touches of Valentine's decorations (not too overdone, but perfect to give that extra cuteness). We would love to stay there again!
