Monthly Rentals in Machutar

We had a great stay at Mountain retreat. The location is just right - not very far from the Mahabaleshwar city centre (about 15 minutes) and yet nicely secluded. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were quite surprised by the fact that even the 1BHK had two washrooms, which was very convenient. It also has a nice private lawn at the backyard and front yard, with some chairs and table for a sit-out. It’s well-maintained with beautiful lighting, so overall a great place to unwind in the evening for a drink or two or even chai! We were lucky to get a full-moon view from the garden on the first night of our stay. There are caretakers, cooks, and maids at the property, all of whom are very responsive and prompt. You can also get home cooked food, which is delicious and reasonably priced. The host Himanshu is super responsive and promptly answered all our queries and solved our problems. Overall a great, value-for-money place to stay - would definitely recommend!

Rahul’s place is around 10-15 mins away from the city centre but very conveniently located. The peaceful surroundings adda up to the natural beauty. The view is simply breathtaking. Rahul was very responsive and catered to all our needs. He is indeed a very nice and helpful person. One thing that requires a special mention - The Food! Simply awesome. Highly recommend this place at Mahabaleshwar.

We had a wonderful stay! The host and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming. They helped us carry our luggage to the room and shared great recommendations for local food. What made our experience even more special was the homemade food they arranged for us—especially the delicious homemade chicken! They even packed fresh strawberries and mulberries for us to take along. When we accidentally lost the key, they were super supportive and promptly helped us with a backup. Truly kind and thoughtful hosts—highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at nature’s home with my family, special mention of caretakers ‘baba and his wife Poonam’ who are always responsive to your needs and Poonam is a wonderful cook. We did not feel to need to step out to dine. Kudos to them , will visit again
