Vacation rentals in Macho Güero

We rented Grace's place for a meeting of our non-profit. It was perfect for our large group. Lots of bedrooms and baths for everyone and the kitchen and sitting areas accommodated us nicely. We didn't really have time to take advantage of the barn activities, but I'm sure it would have been great. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses and cutlery for a large crowd. Grace was very friendly and responsive. She went above and beyond trying to solve an issue that occurred through no fault of her own. Would definitely return.

Our stay was amazing! The house is perfect for a big group — spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive, flexible, and kind, always replying quickly to any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place!

We stayed at Navid's place for 3 nights. It is a very cozy bright cabin which has everything you need for a short vacation. The property is so spacious our dogs loved getting the zoomies and exploring the yard (which is fenced in all around). Navid suggested Mike Hess brewery, located just down the hill (literally). We had a great time there with good food (american) and a wide variety of beer. Family members that visit didn't want to leave and our nights were long and full of laughter, which bothered nobody. Navid was very quick to respond and we would book in the future again.

We had a wonderful time at the Sunset Ridge Oasis! The camper had everything we needed, so it was easy to feel right at home! The bed was super comfy - and we loved hanging out on the patio during the day. The only downside was that we were actually in town from SC to visit San Diego, and it was a bit further than we thought it would be (about 45-50 mins depending on where you're going). However, we were willing to trade convenience for the absolutely GORGEOUS views at the site. It was so cool being surrounded by such beautiful SoCal mountains - and the donkeys on the property were friendly and ADORABLE as well! The road to get to the site was dirt, but we had no trouble navigating it in a rental Nissan Sentra (that the host so graciously jumped off for us when our battery died!). The only other thing I'd mention is that there was a ring camera pointed at the camper - which I totally understand for security purposes! However, it did make it seem a little less private when outside.

Koko's home was a magical Christmas experience for our family of 4 adults and 2 dogs. We arrived after dark, but the house was beautifully lit and welcoming. We had an access code, so it was easy to enter. Once opening the door, we were greeted by an abundance of Christmas cheer, including a fully decorated and lit Christmas tree. It even smelled like Christmas! The Kitchen was fully stocked with new appliances, tools, dishes, cleaning products and even spices. The bedrooms had comfy beds and bedding, with extra pillows and blankets. Both bathrooms had lots of towels, soaps and shampoo. Koko's New Country Home is truly a home away from home; it was more than we could have expected. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

If we could give 7 stars we would. Beautiful location, 15 min. Drive to major hiking and mountain biking at all levels. Truly a rare find. What’s also nice about the location is that it is very quiet, hence a great nights sleep. Away from the traffic that goes on in the hiking area, which made it the right choice. Host was so kind, creative, and caring. The property is surrounded by little peaceful sitting areas under the trees with beautiful planted flowers all around the property. We used their books to get a good idea of what trails to take, etc. and when we contacted the host, they responded right away. Looking forward to staying again.

Small and perfect parking place

This was our second time staying at the cottage and we were glad to be back! As usual, everything was very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were very accommodating and responsive to any requests. We loved the personal touches, such as toys and kids plates for our children. We’ll definitely be back again.

Pretty good place to stay if you have a large group. Having the two cabins with the communal yard makes it easy to situate everyone. Only downside is at least for me is I wasn’t getting any service, so just make sure your service provider lets you do WiFi calling or else you won’t be able to make calls or text. Wish check out time was a little later but over all I would stay again maybe even longer if the price is right. It was a great experience! :)
