Mardale Garden Cottage - quiet Seaside Retreat

We have stayed at Mardale cottage a few times now. Julie is really friendly and helpful and the house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. There are always some goodies waiting in the kitchen for us, this time a couple of Easter eggs! The house is well presented, feels like home, nice garden to enjoy if the weather is good and walkable into St Anne’s with some nice restaurants and bars, plus the the beach. Will certainly be back again.

We had the pleasure of staying at Dale’s newly renovated one-bedroom flat for three nights. The flat boasts a beautifully presented kitchen and a luxurious bathroom featuring double marble bowl sinks and a spacious wet room. The large bedroom with high ceilings added to the sense of openness and comfort. The location was exceptionally quiet, situated on the top floor, making it feel as though we were the only ones in the building. Dale welcomed us with fresh roses and a bottle of red wine, adding a personal and thoughtful touch to our stay. As an interior designer myself, I particularly appreciated the careful selection of this freshly renovated period building with its high ceilings and attention to detail. Shops were within walking distance for a quick coffee run, though Dale had thoughtfully provided a Nespresso machine in the flat. We enjoyed short walk to the beach and suffice to say, Dale’s impeccable attention to detail made this stay truly memorable

We had the most wonderful 3 nights at Adela’s property! Communication prior to and during the stay was fantastic. The actual place is so well laid out, so clean and feels luxurious! It has everything you need in a perfect size space! The hot tub was also great! Would absolutely stay here again!

Julie and John’s Annex was the perfect getaway in Lytham. So easy to find and Julie was always on hand to help with anything. The space itself was spacious enough for two and our dog, who also had a great time. Location was great just a short walk to town and the beachfront. We would definitely stay again!

Absolute perfection. Everything abut it was ideal for our stay. The most easiest check in ever/ 100% privacy/ spotlessly clean and much larger than we expected - the secluded garden was amazing! The hosts have thought of everything and were ready to help at the drop of a hat yet not intrusive whatsoever. Leafy lodge was faultless, we cannot wait to book again and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for having us

Fabulous cottage! Rosie’s cottage is a wonderful place to stay in Lytham. It’s exactly as described, with a beautiful and peaceful garden. The cottage was cleaned and maintained to a high standard and had everything we needed for our stay. Rosie had kindly provided a lovely ‘Welcome Pack’ with snacks and drinks which we really appreciated.
