Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lumnezia

The house was incredibly clean, everything brand new, and every detail was carefully thought out. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of space and comfort for all of us. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views, it offered the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature. Sofia was extremely kind, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay, always available for anything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and useful recommendations provided. Without a doubt, we would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. Such a lovely villa in a beautiful location. Easy to get to by public transport or a walk around the lake. Giuseppe was a great host, always responsive to our queries and also sorted out our Lucerne cards before our arrival which gave us free transport and discounts in the area. Would definitely recommend and hopefully we can return in the future.

We were greeted very kindly and openly by Paul and Silvia. The amenities of the house are ideal with small children. Without exception, everything necessary was available. We found the place spotless and felt very comfortable.

Staying with Barbora in the Alpine view in Walenstadtberg was simply amazing! The pictures of the accommodation speak for themselves: fantastically located in the mountains. Around meadow and hiking trails. It's also an experience for the dog. Barbora is super nice, always available and really takes care of her guests with all their heart. In an emergency, she didn't hesitate to drive to the gas station to get me something – that was real help in a difficult situation. Such hospitality is not self-evident! I highly recommend staying with her. Thank you Barbora!

Beautiful, 300-year-old house. Very cozy. Fantastic surroundings, away from tourist crowds. Extremely friendly hostess, always helpful, always available. Delicious, homemade bread from the hostess. Perfect place for a vacation with peace, mountains in original surroundings. Highly recommend.

We read the previous reviews, saw the photos and chose Stephen’s house. Firstly the accommodation is a really good size. We had 4 adults using 3 b/rooms and there was plenty of space. It was really clean, tidy and we felt really at home. There was everything we needed, plus a supermarket round the corner and bar /restaurant were walking distance. 10/10👍The photos however don’t do justice to the wonderful views! Loved just looking over the lake to the snow capped mountains. Sitting outside was so tranquil. 10/10 because I can’t give 11/10 😁Excellent location for Rigi, Vitznau, Lucerne, Weggis, Stoos, Pilatus, Zug, all worth seeing. Rigi railway / Pilatus cable cars to the summit were our fave’s 10/10 🚠 We’d have stayed longer!🙁Stephen our host was great too. Excellent helpful information sent to us on arrival day. Were lucky enough to see him and got really helpful sightseeing advice. Communications were timely and helpful throughout our stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Very cosy and well equipped appartment in close proximity to the Flims ski slopes. Spectacular outdoor scenery to enjoy from the appartment's terrace. Perfect for a ski holiday or any other outdoor activity. Would gladly come again.

The apartment is in a great location. Right in front of the bus that leads to the ski resort. In addition, it is very cozy, perfectly equipped and just right for us. Nicole is friendly and communication went perfectly. Looking forward to next time!

A nicer place is hard to find around Como lake. Such a beautiful house and close to impossible to find a caring host together. It makes the most sense to stop looking for another place and book a place with great service. Thanks for everything

The accommodation (no. 1, ground floor) in a house with about 7 apartments plus associated infrastructure (ski cellar, leisure room, carport per apartment, garbage separation area, black board with information, laundry cellar) is comfortably furnished in the 80/90s style and above all very well equipped (and everything labeled); especially the modern kitchen (e.g. incl. Fondue equipment). Heating was warm and beds cozy, we didn't have to freeze. Images correspond to reality and everything is well organized. It is located 50 m from the Rhine and only a 5-minute walk from the thermal bath in a very quiet residential area. All necessary shops are also within walking distance.

A really lovely hideaway in a beautiful valley! Free parking available directly outside the apartment, and the views are spectacular. The apartment is super clean and stays warm in the winter. The shower is excellent! We cooked our own dinner for a couple of nights and found everything we needed - utensils, spices, napkins, etc. Elena was a fantastic host, explaining the local restaurants and sights to us. Everything about our stay was perfect!

A great location for staying in the area. A convenient walk from the train station with beautiful views from the windows. I would definitely recommend.

The place with Sabrina and her family was great! It felt like home. The reception was very pleasant and nothing was missing in the accommodation. The location is great and very suitable to reach some hikes within 10 min drive. I highly recommend the hike on the high feet, there is the best view of the beautiful village of Bludenz. We will be happy to come back!

Great terrace with beautiful views, spacious living space. Great equipped kitchen. Top ski room and the luxury of driving from the garage directly into the apartment by elevator.

Great place. Loved my hosts! Over a pizza dinner, I got to learn a lot about my hosts (and vice versa). I will definitely come back here if it is available.

Joelle is very responsive and kind. The apartment is spacious, bright, and well equipped. Perfect for a family of 4-5. Super position with easy access to many beautiful hikes (some start exactly from the apartment e.g. Rocabella or Pass da Sett), lots of tranquility, and a quick drive to more populated Engadin and Surses.

Very satisfied with the place and the friendly hosts. There is nothing to complain about . We will definitely come back!
