The Castello di Menaggio (former castle) is history. Traffic is restricted, so very quiet, with a great lake view. It has a large roof-top terrace and a balcony. A/C in main bedroom, full kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine. Common garden available (no dogs allowed in garden). A 5 minutes walk (downhill) to the center. It is quiet in a small traditional village with no cars, only small passages between the houses. It is a great location for water sports, hiking, mountain biking, or just playing around on the beach. The house was incredibly clean, everything brand new, and every detail was carefully thought out. It was fully equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were 4 adults and 3 children, and there was plenty of space and comfort for all of us. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful mountain views, it offered the perfect environment to relax and enjoy nature. Sofia was extremely kind, warm, and attentive throughout our entire stay, always available for anything we needed. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches and useful recommendations provided. Without a doubt, we would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommended!

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

Lucas was very responsive and helpful, his house is very nice and has a great view on lake and mountains , the train passes by all the time, the outside area is too big and nice, everything is clean except for some spider webs in the corners but overall the house was very clean, there are also fun games for the kids which they enjoyed a lot. The only thing we didn't like was the area around the house, it is very quiet and completely dark at night which is a bit scary, but maybe that is a plus point for others.

We had a great stay. The house was very comfortable with a beautiful view. The pool is shared but we never met someone else. You can "hike" down to the lake, there is a nice footpath just behind the house. I would recommend booking this lovely place only if you have a car.

It was now our third ski trip that we spent with Claudius. Everything was fine again. We liked it very much again! We would come back any time and can recommend Claudius's place with a clear conscience. Claudius's house is also ideal for holidays outside the winter season. You are in the middle of a hiking and biking area or you can just enjoy the seclusion. GREAT THING!
