Auke has really made the old rectory a very special place that inspires when you are looking for peace and quiet and at the same time stimulating yourself to think about life, living sustainably. I haven't seen such a place yet It doesn't always have to be new or perfect!! Auke is a special person and artist. We are glad we met him and had a good time with him in Recknitz!

Was very clean and very nicely decorated!

The place was clean and as described located right on the lake. Small but nice is quite accurate here. We booked it to escape from the city to nature with our dog over New Year's Eve, which worked relatively well, but unfortunately the nearby campsite had a big firework display - although not comparable to Berlin, but still sobering - fortunately our dog didn't mind it so much and of course the accommodation can't do anything about it, but that should be considered if you want to book with a dog over New Year's Eve. Otherwise, there was everything we needed for the short time. From the property, you can also take nice walks.

We stayed in a beautiful apartment on the 2nd floor from Mon-Fri. There was a small balcony and for the children there were games, books, dishes, stools, etc. We particularly liked that. Unfortunately, the water in the swimming pool was too cold for our 4-year-old son and so we could only use the swimming pool alternately with our daughter. Unfortunately, the counter swimming system did not work. The sauna area was very nice. For the sauna you had to pay €1/ 15 min. We were not aware of this in advance, but it was ok so far. To get to the elevator, you had to carry the wagon both from the underground car park (3 steps) and from the ground floor (6 steps). This was packed, often exhausting with 2 small children and dog. Next to the elevator on the ground floor there was a small storage room for the stroller. The location really convinced us, as we could quickly be on the dog beach with our dog (beach entrance 1). You could do a lot with the kids.

Great stay, beautiful city. Host was very friendly and responsive. Easy and flexible check in. Thank you again for having me and my dog and your place. If I’m back in Germany I would definitely consider the stay in Schwerin.

We were there for 5 days and it was super nice. Ilona is super nice, friendly and always helpful. She gave us many tips for the area. We were in Blekende, Lauenburg/Elbe on the way and at the forest pool Amt Neuhaus and Elbstrand. We had a nice time. The house with large garden is nice, quiet, the kitchen has everything you need. You can also barbecue. Great place, beautiful nature, quiet. We can recommend the vacation home at Ilona's. Thanks Ilona🌹😊

Very inexpensive accommodation and very nice hosts

Nice place to stay in basement. Clean, fresh and good equipment despite small area. We were just passing through and needed an overnight stay, very good for this.

We had a great time at the cottage. It is very large and the kitchen was super equipped. Especially with a dog it is perfect as the garden is fenced and he can always get out.

We enjoyed the holiday very much, the rooms were very lovingly furnished and we immediately felt comfortable. Many extras like a fire bowl and BBQ on the terrace have enriched our evenings. Also the surrounding area offers many excursion destinations, such as the spa area of Basthorst Castle, the lake (with great raft drive!), a beach day on the island of Poel or city sightseeing in Schwerin and Wismar. We will definitely come back again, as much remained undiscovered or was so nice that there is a need for repetition!

Wonderful! Olgashof is a real gem. We wanted to get out of the city and recharge our batteries in the countryside for a week, and it worked out perfectly. The listed farmhouse is really lovingly renovated and furnished in such a way that it is also practical for modern people. With cozy sitting areas, library, art, chess… And good Internet. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms modern and sparkling clean. From the courtyard it is a three-minute walk to the castle park and ten to the Elbe with dike and enchanted floodplain landscape. We walked for hours in all directions and let the wind blow around our noses. With dozens of birds, deer and rabbits as neighbors, we were able to breathe deeply. Thanks, Olga, also for your mega dedicated way! We will be back – when the storks are back ; )

We enjoyed our stay in Stella's apartment in Teschow very much. The apartment is very lovely and modern, and the possibility to use the terrace is great. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet, I finally read a book again. The sunny days have rounded off the best time. Rostock and the various Baltic Sea baths - and beaches are within 25-45 minutes. I had read that bed linen is to be brought by myself. We were able to find a good solution with Stella. For the reception, there was frisches Gemüse from the garden. Great! Best regards, Heike

I had an amazing stay at Reinhard's Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It’s in a perfect location—quiet yet close to attractions.

We had a great stay in Ratekau after a slight hitch getting into the house (the keys weren't in the lock box when we arrived but this was very quickly resolved). The flat was spacious with a well stocked kitchen and very peaceful. It was a great base for exploring the local area - Lübeck and Travemünde are both very beautiful in different ways and well worth visiting
