A good house also for a longer stay. From the village you can reach Cordoba in 20 minutes; Seville, Granada, etc. are about the same distance (just under 2 hours). The house is cozy, especially for a larger group, several lounges. The pool was cleaned and refilled daily and Enrique was very kind and ready for individual requests more towels, delayed departure).

Our host and our stay were great, after a big problem at the beginning. Airbnb gave us the wrong address, 4 Calle Hereguerra(?). We expected to be located right in the city of Antequera but just found an apt. building there. It turns out this rental is 20 km from the city, and Maria Theresa was waiting for us at Villanueva de la Conception, near the house. She spent the whole evening getting us to the right place, showing us around the house, looking at maps with us about how to drive to other cities, and taking us to buy groceries. She doesn't speak much English, but she was resourceful about using translation functions, so our communication was fine. We felt welcome. There was wine and a tarte waiting for us, and she dropped off fresh vegetables and olive oil from her garden. The house is in a rural area. It has a pool, beautiful views, a charming interior, a washer and good kitchen, and several bedrooms. Though we had expected to be in a city, we were glad we stayed there.

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

Very nice place to have a good time. l Lots of space and privacy, all clean and the owner is very friendly and helpful. She offered us a lot of flexibility with check-in and checkout. Can recommend the place and would come back.

We spent a wonderful couple of months staying in Isa's beautiful house. It felt like home with lots of thoughtful touches. The view from the patio is incredible, looking out over the beautiful town and the lake. Iznajar is a great place to stay, so friendly and lots of cultural events going on. We loved it there. So much so we bought a house nearby! Isa is very kind and helpful. She really is a very attentive host and goes the extra mile to look after you. Muchas gracias y hasta luego!!

the house is as advertised. the owner is responsive available. very good welcome. the access to the house is well indicated. it is necessary to have a car because the house is isolated, far from the city and accessible by an unpaved road only at the end of the journey for 2 km. the house is fully equipped, and all comforts. the rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. the pool is as shown in the photos, the hot tub is pleasant and a real asset. there are animals on the property, cats and dogs, a donkey and a horse. the animals are a plus, the children love it. we had a pleasant stay. I recommend for families for a relaxing holiday away from the city.

Quiet place, with plenty of privacy and very easy to park. Plenty of amenities for those who want to walk around but also enjoy the space. Comfortable place and even with children you can have a good time. The house heats up easily, but with the air conditioning this is easily solved. Friendly and responsive hosts. I recommend it for those who like peace and comfort.

The place is exactly as described in the listing. The pool is great if you go with kids, it's not covered and is perfect for them to play. Perfect place to disconnect. Jose Luis is very attentive!!

Perfect place to disconnect in the middle of nature. The house freshly renovated and with all the equipment possible, nothing was missing. Rubén and his father have always been available both before and during to resolve any questions. The only downside is the access road, which you have to be cautious and not access with a too low vehicle. No doubt we will try to return in the future :)

We had a great end, even if the weather did not go with it. The house , very nice in an accessible area, but at the same time quiet. It was very well equipped with utensils , blankets and towels , comfortable beds. Amalia was attentive and attentive in our stay and welcomed us with the chimneys on , good communication and accessible at all times .

Amazing house. Old chapel, you can see the talent in decorating that place. It is a peaceful place with a spectacular poolside view. Trekking trails, village restaurant with a very tasty cuisine. We loved our week at Teresa's house. She also recommended many places. Very privileged place.

We had an amazing weekend. The house is super cool inside and the pool is super spacious, with the barbecue very well located and it was very easy to get to the place! Everything was great!

We've been great. The enclave, the dining area and downstairs. Everything is very good. And Francisco was very helpful at all times. I would repeat without hesitation.

This is a beautiful old former flour mill that has been lovingly converted into a fantastic holiday home. We spent almost all of our time by the pool, which is absolutely wonderful. We did all our cooking/eating in the separate kitchen area that is next to the pool. The interior of the house is great too, it has good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and two nice bathrooms. There are sofas to relax on, a number of flat-screen TVs, and good wi-fi throughout. The house and pool are completely private, and although being next to a small road, there was almost no traffic. It is too far to walk to the village, but only a few mins drive by car. The owners, Pino and Pedro, are lovely - very friendly and welcoming. They explained all about the interesting history of the property. It was very hot at night in Aug, so we had to buy some fans for the bedrooms from a nearby village. The fans also blocked out the sound of distant dog barking, which is of course common to rural areas of Spain.

Great stay in Manuel's rural casa! The proximity to iznajar lake, the hills full of olive trees, the surrounding villages were beautiful. Convenient because 1 h from Cordoba and pomegranate. Pool was perfect. Manuel and his wife were absolutely adorable.

The stay at Gloria's house was magnificent. It's the second year we stayed there. Everything is clean and tidy and the house is very complete. The environment is very nice. Gloria and her daughter have been very kind and have been attentive to all our needs. I'm sure we'll repeat it.

We had a wonderful time in Bev's accommodation - the pool was great for cooling off in the hot temperatures and we had a marvellous view of the mountains. There was also a brand new barbecue which we were allowed to use for cosy barbecue evenings. The flat was very clean inside and out. Bev was a great host, she even provided us with food on our arrival and recommended lots of great local sights and events. We would love to come back!

The place is just like the pictures. However, some basic products would have been welcome in the kitchen, such as pepper, sugar, a little olive oil... Rafael and his wife are very kind and have good advice. I'm ordering this listing.
