This private cabin has views to leave you awestruck! Small deck and huge windows bring the view inside! Alaskan charm at it's best! Very clean and accommodating! Many of our guests tell us this has been their favorite on their vacation! Full kitchen & bath, flat screen satellite TV, wi-fi; cozy but complete! Lots of local knowledge to help you in any way with ideas, restaurants, activities and directions and sometimes, adorable husky puppies to play with! Bike rentals available on property!

Cooper Cabins

Log building with 2 queen beds. In the winter this is my garage but summer it's a great 'cabin'. Microwave, fridge, covered grilling area with gas grill,space heater, private shower/toilet house. Fire pit, no wood supplied. Kenai Lake access is 1 mile, great beach walking. Fish on the Kenai, 1.5 miles away or drive 6 miles to the Russian River. Dogs allowed but you cannot leave them alone in the cabin unless they are in a kennel. If days are not available please ask, I might be open.

Very nice host. Clean, absolutely beautiful location. Many places to vist including the Cooper landing museum, public boat launch had a lovely short walking area with viewing of the mountains and ends at the launch. Very friendly town. Highly recommend the raindeer sausage. Jayden was great to deal with and very helpful

Great location for a weekend stay. Easy access to Anchorage (~45 minutes away), Girdwood Restaurants and Shops (~5 minutes away), and great middle point if you want to hike the Kenai or explore Whittier. Easy check-in with lots of amenities like hot tube, laundry on-site, coffee makers, etc.

The place was nice and toasty inside on arrival. The cabin and port-o-potty were well kept and plenty of clean water was provided inside.

what a nice find! place was clean and we'll equipped. a little more road noise than I had thought likely but once in the cabin dropped way off. nicely insulated. comfortable beds. a good value all around. restaurant very good, a little pricey but not too bad, especially with the remote location. breakfast included in the stay so that was good. breakfast was excellent.

What a beautiful house that exceeded the description! We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living area to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our 2 Daughters and their husbands and all 5 of our grandchildren! The location was perfect with a beautiful view from the dining room and deck! (.....from an online search: The mountain seen from a house deck on Golden View Drive in Anchorage, AK is likely The Sleeping Lady, also known as Mount Susitna. The body of water is likely the Cook Inlet) The location was very close to many restaurants and several of the attractions we planned to visit as well as having privacy, with wonderful views from the windows and porches.
