Monthly Rentals in Lower Godney

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Emily was a great host and very responsive to any messages. Four adults stayed over the long bank holiday and had a wonderful time. Plenty of space and board games to keep everyone entertained when the weather was bad. Kitchen was very well equipped.

Karen is a fantastic and responsive host. The place was cozy, clean, and easy to access. Highly recommend!

Jim and Hannah’s property is a beautifully converted barn opposite their own house. It is a perfect location for anyone who loves birds. We could walk to Westhay reserve and drive easily to Ham Walk and Shapwick. The house has everything one could need, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, effective central heating. There is a good pub in the village within an easy walk and the excellent Sweets Teashop a short drive away for coffee after a morning watching birds.

Fantastic second stay. Wonderfully peaceful & enjoyed watching the hawks and deer. Lovely place & some nice little touches like the milk (including oat) provided upon arrival - meant I didn't have to go out in the rain, as id forgotten to pack any. Kitchen is stocked with tea, coffee beans, sugar, oils, salt/paper & some spices along with some other bit - all very useful if you plan on cooking. Water's always hot, cottage is nice & warm with easy controls of you want to boost the temperature, but with the fire too that's rarely needed.
