Thornthorpe cottage is a lovely barn conversion with high ceilings, lots of natural light and good quality furniture and linens. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and there was a welcome hamper on arrival. It’s in an ideal spot for exploring the Dales, Moors and coast. If you’re interested in visiting Yorkshire, I would highly recommend booking a stay.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Our stay at Mill House was just lovely. It was quaint with lots of character, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Jill and Jonathan were really great hosts. It was lovely been on a working farm, having sheep just outside the windows and hearing the hens and seeing people riding by on their horses. We were approximately 15 miles either way from York and Whitby. The journey either way was amazing and we were able to see the Yorkshire moors Will definitely go back.

I brought the break as a 70th birthday gift for my Mother and she thoughroly enjoyed the break, she said it was exactly as described and Liesa was friendly, welcoming and gave them recommendations for dinner. The property is in a great location to explore and managed to visit a few national trust venues, She loved the welcome bits when they arrived and overall had a brilliant stay. Thank you :)
