Amazing tropical paradise overlooking the Pacific coast. We appreciated the minimal ecological footprint of Antoine’s little wooden cabin, the outdoor shower and the bedroom open to birds, monkeys, night sounds, stars and rising full moon. Magical. Antoine and his wife were extremely welcoming and responsive. Their passion for the forest and wildlife and for essential living is palpable and infectious. A rare and very special experience.

A large window frames the serene view of the beachfront, with gentle waves lapping at the shore. Lush greenery surrounds the sandy area leading to the water, while a dining set is visible under the covered porch, enhancing the connection to the outdoor environment.

Had a fabulous week right on the beach. Enjoyed sunrises and sunsets, swimming and beach walks. Close to restaurants like Bruno’s and Kambutaleko, where we enjoyed sunset dinners with beautiful views. Rented surfboards from Kenny (Cambutal surf company) and surfed near the casa. And took 2 amazing tours (boat tour and horseback tour) with Azuero Adventures. There’s so much to do in Cambutal- all within walking distance of this casa!! Krystina was very helpful, check in was easy and we had everything we needed! She gave lots of local advice and helped us order fruit from Luis- delivered right to the door. Kitchen was well stocked, we had lots of towels (including beach towels) and the AC was great in the bedrooms Wish we could have stayed longer!

A very private and comfortable house on a small lovely farm a quick drive to several good surf breaks. Everything is clearly maintained with great care but not the least bit fussy. Amira is welcoming, responsive and generous with her knowledge. She made me feel like I was on vacation before I’d arrived. I’d definitely go back.

This house is exactly as described, our family of four was more than comfortable here. We loved that everything we needed: beaches, groceries, restaurants, were so close. Riccardo is so responsive and even on a holiday he was there if we needed him. It was helpful to get local recommendation from him and he was very nice. This home is definitely worth the value of staying and exploring this area!

Elena and Agustin's lodge is very stylishly decorated, there is a large terrace with furniture and hammocks in a beautiful garden. You have the possibility to make coffee or tea, meals can be taken in the very inexpensive and delicious beach restaurant. Elena and Agustin are incredibly likeable, warm and helpful hosts. They have plenty of tips for the area. Agustin is a great surf instructor. You can also rent surfboards from him. There is also the possibility for horseback riding in the surrounding area. We (2 adults, 3 children) all felt very comfortable with them and had three really wonderful days in Guanico abajo. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you, dear Elena and Agustin for everything!! It was great!

Wonderful place with great hosts and in a beautiful location. Mario was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. The room was spotless with all the linen clean and in plastic bags. The room had everything we needed and there were lovely touches like cookies and water awaiting us. Great location from Las Tablas. We will be definitely coming back!

Had a great stay and will definitely come back. Nice clean room, guest kitchen with all you need. Yari was super welcoming and friendly. Communication with her was easy and she‘s always ready to help.

A compact kitchenette with wooden cabinetry features essential appliances for meal preparation. A bunk bed is positioned nearby, offering comfortable sleeping arrangements. Soft linens are displayed on the beds, complemented by a small dining table and chair set. Natural light brightens the space.

We stayed at the property for three nights and the people who work there are really making every effort to ensure that you have a great stay and respond super quickly to questions or concerns. What you should know is that Playa Venao is a place where you can see little local people and the prices are based on European or US tourists for shopping or in restaurants. But if you want to ride a few waves, the perfect place to stay there. The property has everything you need and you can also relax there, e.g. in hammocks:)

Great place, totally recommended We stayed for several days and the experience was excellent. The place was spotless, well equipped and just as described in the listing. The location was perfect, with easy access to everything we needed, especially very close to the beach. In addition, the host was very friendly and helpful at all times, making sure our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. Nice place right on the beach. The room is in the back of the property, next to the kitchen. You walk up the beach to the left and on the right view over the river. You are really in the middle of nature. Nice to also have contact with the other guests through the communal kitchen.
