A very nice apartment overlooking the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The property is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and downtown La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The property is also within walking distance of the train station.

We really enjoyed Douglas and Typhaine's house. It is not only very well located, a ten-minute walk from Bud Bud, but also functional, comfortable, with a special mention for the renovation and high-quality decor. Note that having a fairly large car, I preferred not to park on the land, the place seemed a little tight. Anyway, in June, I was able to park on the street without any problems. I hope to be back soon!

We are surprised by the quality of the accommodation. For once, reality was better than the photos. Really comfortable, great exterior (with geese that appear when you approach their enclosure😉). In addition, you have access to a beach by a path through the forest, as well as walks or bike rides. Really a good location. For information, the cottage will be enlarged to accommodate 10 people, and given the quality of the current cottage, I imagine that the extension will be up to par...

Great stay in this beautiful home where everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Everything was perfect: very clean, quality furniture, tranquility of the residence. Beautiful house in a very quiet, bright place. The only small downside is that the telephone network is very bad and there is no wifi. We recommend.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with the family in Les Sables d 'Olonne, and this apartment contributed greatly to it. The view is simply splendid. The apartment is in a great location, bright, clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped. A huge thank you to our host, a lady of great kindness, available and caring. We were also touched by the kindness and warm welcome of the Sablais, who make this city even more enjoyable to discover. We recommend this listing without a second thought, and will be happy to come back!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the Ile de Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental next door, friendly). The added bonus is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Had a great time at Arnaud's apartment. Very well hosted by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

This apartment is in a great location with views over the harbour and the sea. It is clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We like that once there it is possible to leave your car in its parking space and walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. A lovely place for a calm and restful holiday.
