We had a great weekend at La Jonchère. The cottage is perfect for a family reunion. Everyone was delighted with the bedding, the environment, the charm of the cottage. The children were able to play safely in the garden. Many activities are available in the surrounding area, visit the Poitevin marsh, beach, water park, hiking circuit, market... Excellent family weekend in this functional house with very neat decor. We felt right at home, from the youngest to the oldest, and were able to enjoy the pool and the very well-equipped outdoor spaces. Nothing was missing, and Stephy's lovely hospitality is noteworthy. Kasia and Anthony's house was perfect for our weekend with friends. The grounds are huge, well maintained. The pool and terrace are very nice. And the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding. The house in its looks is really tastefully decorated and we would have stayed a little longer! All communication with Kasia and Anthony, and with Sandrine on site, went very well, everything was simple and smooth. Thank you very much

Beautiful, large, well laid out and tastefully decorated house. Terrace with a very pleasant reclosable pool. Close to the center of Ars. We had a great week there with 9 people.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Pascale and Laurent's beautiful, very well-equipped and characterful home! A perfect place for a family gathering, with spacious and comfortable living spaces inside and out to chat and relax and the sparkling pool and table tennis table for a little light exercise! The fascinating historical port city of La Rochelle is less than half an hour away by bus and the Atlantic with access to coast paths is nearby. We enjoyed a visit to the Sunday market in the square in Nieul sur Mer followed by un petit cafe en terrasse at the inviting and friendly Bistrot de la Place. We much appreciated the possibility of an early check in and Stephanie, Pascale and Laurent's local agent, was most helpful as well as friendly and welcoming, responding immediately to any queries we had. Merci beaucoup!!

Super nice house with a great garden. We had a great vacation in Christine's house with 4 adults and 3 children. We were received in a very friendly manner by Christine and were allowed to park our cars in the parking lots in advance. The house is very tasteful and cozy furnished and you immediately feel comfortable. With the new pool, the children in particular got their money's worth. You can walk to the city or the beach very quickly. All in all, a great place to stay! We will be happy to come back :)

Amazing house for a family get-together, there are all the desired amenities. It was a joy! Fully equipped for children. Bed linen kit quite expensive to rent because not provided (€28 per person), but we brought our own linen so no problem for us :) It was a great stay thanks to this dream home!

House was very well equipped with everything you could need. Nice location within quiet residential area with easy access to lots of facilities. We cycled to the beach, bakers and to town centre and beyond. Safe cycling routes. An amazing selection of bikes too, we took our own but didn’t need to. The pool was lovely, a real sun trap, being fenced off was a must for us, very safe, with child proof latch. The tiled floors throughout mean sound travels so not ideal if your children are light sleepers. All in all brilliant week.

Our stay at Emilie’s place was great! The house is very clean and modern with a lovely garden area which was perfect for our little one. 10 minute walk to the beach was perfect. Lovely quiet town which was walkable from the house. Great location to get to nearby towns. We couldn’t use the pool unfortunately due to it being very cold, I would be mindful booking this time of year again as the heating was not on in the pool. Would have been great to have this. Emilie was a great host, very responsive to our questions and very accommodating. We would come back again as a family for sure. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful house, typically Retaise as described in the listing. Spacious for 8 people. The garden is just beautiful, with heated pool. Everything is planned for a great stay. In addition, is very well located, between Le Bois, La Couarde and Saint Martin. Catherine is very responsive when you ask her for anything. We'll be happy to go back.

Great weekend with friends at Sabrina's. Beautiful house, welcoming and accommodating host. Close to the center of La Rochelle by car or bike. No complaints, we'll be back!
