We had an unforgettable stay at this magical cabin! Izzy and Joe are amazing hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and since late checking was requested by them , they kindly offered a late checkout, which we truly appreciated and made our departure more relaxed. The cabin itself is even better than the photos—beautifully decorated, full of natural light, and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom and sunroom with lake views quickly became our favorite cozy spots. The private island with its dreamy daybed swing and breathtaking lake views felt like a hidden paradise, and our dog loved roaming leash-free on the island. Everything in the cabin is intuitively organized, with smart controls for lighting, shades, and TV—managed via an iPad that also contains a well-designed digital guide. We’ve stayed at many cabins over the years, and this one stands out in every way. We’re already planning to return and make this special place an annual tradition

We had a fabulous stay at this adorable cottage. It had everything we needed and more. Great spaces indoors and out to hang out, walkable to one of our favorite wineries, other wineries & restaurants close by. Appreciated having a tandem kayak to use & explore Goose Creek. Enjoyed watching birds, including Baltimore oriole parents in a nest in the backyard. Would return again. Thank you!

This beautiful lake house is a lovely retreat from the chaos of the city. We spent the day lounging by the dock, and relaxing in the sun. It was awesome to have a full private bar with your own pool table right in the house!

Ellen’s place was great for the 4 of us! We loved the quiet residential location which was a short drive to good restaurants. We spent a lot of time lounging on the back patio which had comfortable patio furniture. We drove to beaches, and found that a couple further away met our needs better than the local Yacht Club. The beach gear that was provided at the guest house was really helpful. Ellen was a top communicator & provided more snacks and drinks than I’ve ever seen at an AirBNB. I recommend Ellen’s place!

Our stay at the house was wonderful experience. Our host Michael whom fortunately we met personally is one of the nicest person you’ll encounter in life. The surrounding and the grounds were so beautiful that you will enjoy when you stay at that house. Many thanks to our host and his well managed house. The place is very close to all lovely restaurants, shopping areas, etc. We all highly appreciated and recommend to stay at this place for any occasion and vacation. We loved Laura and Dana’s Big Easy home by the beach. It was big and comfortable and every detail had been thought about to maximize our enjoyment. Drawers and closets and cabinets were all labeled so we didn’t have to search for anything or guess where anything was. Literally every need had been anticipated! Amazing. The beds and bedding and linens and towels were abundant and soft and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were awesome, from an air fryer, to a full set of bar tools and blender, to great appliances. The decor was happy and cheerful and creative and fun. There were so many places to sit and enjoy, both inside and out. Do not hesitate to choose this wonderful place for a visit of any length. You will love it!

we had a quiet girls getaway to celebrate my sister getting married-upon arrival we checked out the entirety of the home…to which we were pleasantly surprised every corner we turned! exquisite home with comfortable, aesthetically pleasing furnishing and so much gorgeous natural light. the outdoor shower was a huge BONUS! heated pool had us outside moving our bodies more than we’d imagined and was such a fun way to spend time together. the living room is so cozy and a great space to have a game-night-in! i could go on and on about each detail but you should simply stay here and enjoy for yourself all this property has to offer!

Benjamin's place is all you expect and more. It is clean, roomy, comfortable, and quiet. My family is all about comfortable temperatures and the AC makes each room feel great. If you are sitting on the deck, off the kitchen, there is a breeze with pretty sunrises and sunsets. Ben was a thoughtful host! I reached out with one simple question and before we knew it we had items delivered to the door - for our family and our dog! It was a delightful and welcoming touch. The cottage is so comfortable with fabulous bedding, a fantastic Jacuzzi tub, a fully stocked kitchen, and a full coffee and tea bar! Such a generous amenity. I highly recommend Benjamin's cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. It was so very peaceful and we loved being literally right around n the water! Slept amazingly well and the cottage was just lovely! Robert was also a great host. 5 stars all around and we hope to return again!

Surprised my girlfriend with a weekend get away for her birthday and she was thrilled. Evelina and John are great host and their place is warm and welcoming. We loved the lake, and the quiet serenity of the location is perfect for a weekend trip from the city. Also loved the kitchen which made cooking in a breeze because how thoughtfully organized it was. Although our stay was short we did find time to take the canoes out explore the lake and take a refreshing dip. Our only complaint was that our stay wasn’t longer, and we’re both looking forward to coming back !

This was a lovely cottage and location, part of a private beach community, on a very quiet road, with partial views of the Long Island Sound. Gail was thoughtful to put out a nice welcome basket and some cold sodas and bottle water in the fridge. Perfect spot for two to three people. Close to Guilford main green, dock and nearby Stony Creek and Madison. We didn't make use of the bikes and kayaks bc it rained in the mornings, but we enjoyed one of the two beach just a few minute walk away. Jacob's cove area is a gem.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home! It is an old house so it had its quirks, but it was nothing we couldn’t look past. Very steep stairs, a janky door- nothing major. We had young kids with us so the gates for the stairs came in very handy! There were baby gates, 2 pack and plays, a high chair and a toddler bed. Those amenities alone took so much stress off us. The towels and linens were all very nice and clean and plentiful. The views were PHENOMENAL. We took a walk along the beach at low tide and had so much fun collecting golf balls and shells. My son got to hold his first baby shrimp and jellyfish. The memories made were priceless. Water shoes are a must!! If you require a smart tv with all the apps, I recommend bringing a Firestick, as the tv capabilities were limited. I had one delivered from target within an hour. Astrid was the BEST host! She was extremely responsive, helpful, flexible, and kind. I can’t say enough good things about her and her home!

We loved staying at Great Gull. The house easily housed our family of 5 with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. The home is clean and well stocked with kitchen basics (including coffee and spices) for cooking and the bathrooms included toiletries. Convenient access to the beach - we loved hanging out in the private back yard and patio. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and cozy cabin. Close to Mystic without being right in the thick of it. We enjoyed a night by the fire with a friendly local fisherman. It worked nicely for our short trip to the area.

We’re so glad we found Paul’s rentals at Stonington Marina! This is a wonderfully unique stay in a great area with lots to do, and Paul’s cottages at the marina provide a peaceful, homey place to relax and enjoy. It was great to kayak over to Sandy Point and enjoy the beach like a local. If you want to catch and prepare your own fish, he’s got the stuff for that in the patio/fire pit area. Or you can get some fresh catch in nearby Stonington borough. Otherwise there’s a host of excellent restaurants nearby and Paul’s recommendations will steer you well. The cottage itself was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Again, a great find!

The Nordic Cabin was the perfect setting for my husband and I to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. The cabin is beautiful and the modern design, furnishings, and decor really stand out. Instructions of how to get into the cabin and the pitcures provided made check in and check out a breeze. The kitchen was well stocked. A bottle of white wine and a few treats were left for us. The kitchen offered different spices, oils, milk, and eggs. Kitchen utensils, pots/pans, dishes, cups, glasses, etc are provided, as well as cleaning supplies. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the cozy living room and slept well in the beautiful bedroom. Last, I have to say that the first time we opened the gate at night, after dinner in Warwick, and saw all of the outdoor lights on, really made it feel like we were entering an enchanted garden. Would definitely come back!! Thank you Kamil and Margaret!!

Definitely would stay there again and recommend to everyone who is looking forward for a little getaway from busy life. Beautiful home on lake with truly amazing views. Had all the amenities for a wonderful weekend getaway. We had a great time kayaking, barbecuing and spending time outdoors.

We had a lovely 5-day stay at the cabin on the lake! It was just what we needed. When the weather was nice, we hung out on the dock - there was a hammock to relax in, chairs in the shed, boats to explore with (I went out in a kayak a few times). Lake was peaceful and pretty. The cabin itself was quirky and nice. Yes, hot inside during the days, but with the fully surrounding screened in porch, there was no need to stay inside! Even when it rained, we could be "outside" without being in the elements. The kitchen was well stocked, coffee at the ready, there were plenty of towels and sheets and bed (though we only needed one!), shampoo/ conditioner in the shower, wood ready for the fireplace, board games and more. Honestly, it had everything you'd want for a little getaway. The spot felt secluded while only 5 minutes away from a supermarket. [Okay, you could hear Rte 8 traffic a bit, but it served as calming white noise!] I'd definitely return again...

Our stay at Emily’s lake place was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations! We were there for the week leading up to and including our son’s graduation from West Point, which is an hour from “the lake place,” as we affectionately called it. The West Point portion of our week was both wonderful and stress-filled with lots of travel back and forth between the two places, so the fact that the lake place was exactly as advertised was such a relief! The weather was cold and rainy for our entire week there, yet our stay in Emily’s cabin was peaceful, relaxing, and fun-filled. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided, including the spices for cooking! Our beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The bathrooms were spotless, as was every room. The views of the lake were truly spectacular!! As we were packing up to leave, my daughter said, “they thought of EVERYTHING!” And she was right. If we ever stay in the area again, we will definitely book Emily’s place!

We had a lovely stay at Cynthia’s serene cabin on the lake. The view is beautiful and this home is very well decorated with comfort in mind. We enjoyed the private backyard and dock as a family and we would love to return. She is very communicative and a fantastic host.
