Balmore, Main Street, Killin

StephenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lived up to expectations and photos, reviews ect prior to arrival were fair and accurate. Nothing to do with Julie, be aware that the local restaurants offered a different menu to what was actually on websites apart from The Courie Inn which was spot on. Again nothing to do with the Balmore which was spot on. Brilliant location, four male adults who used it as a base for hillwalking, golf and offering our views on nearly every drink available in Killin. Highly recommend

Such a lovely place, wish we could’ve stayed even longer! We used the lodge as our home base for a day trip to Isle of Skye which worked really well. This did require a bit of driving, but we prepared for that. Highly recommend!

Eilean Green View, Dornie

JennyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Absolutely beautiful. We had the most wonderful stay. The house was perfect for us and our friends. Josephine was always responsive and was able to let us check out later than usual, which was most appreciated. To be able to wander around Eilean Donan Castle at any time we wanted was extra special. We would not hesitate to stay again.

Ardrhu Cottage on the banks of the loch.

JeanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Joanne’s house, Ardrhu Cottage is very beautiful with stunning views. The cottage is very clean and the furniture, including the beds, was extremely comfortable. The views are unbelievably stunning with the lochs and mountains and if you are reading you keep just stopping and looking out of the windows in the concervatory, it is hard to concentrate. We will definitely go back there for it is very peaceful and beautiful. Joanne was always on hand to help if needed.

Scottish Highland Family House with Sea View

AndrewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house is perfectly secluded with a view and short drive of Applecross and some great drives. Inside was thoughtfully set up based on our requirements, communication couldn't have been clearer and proactive local suggestions abundant. What made this fantastic were the hosts who checked in before and druring and whose interactions made it feel like we were renting from people who really cared rather than a private company. This is what Airbnb is supposed to be and often isn't. Couldn't recommend it more

Kerrycroy: A hidden gem in Highland Perthshire!

A little gem tucked far enough away to be remote, but close enough to walk to town. Lovely property with extensive views that felt really homely. Met Henry a couple of times and he incredibly friendly and a cracking host. Would definitely recommend Kerrycroy as a base for exploring or just to sit outside and while away the time…

Lower Glendoe Cottage, Loch Ness

HazelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We all had high expectations as this property was described so beautifully both in words and pictures. And we were not disappointed. Wow, was all we could say! What a fabulously comfortable, welcoming home. All the fixtures and decorations were high end and we appreciated all the fine details. The high tech oven did give us pause, but we figured it out. We were a family of 6, and even the 20+ year old “kids” were comfortable in the bunks. Thank you for the thought that has been put into this property.

Unique Ullapool cottage with superb sea views

IrfanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic 5-night stay in this beautiful cottage. Our group of five adult males found it to be the perfect base for exploring Ullapool and the surrounding Highlands. The location is ideal — just a 2–3 minute drive or a 20-minute walk into the centre of Ullapool. We did both during our stay. The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning. We were lucky enough to catch a rainbow over breakfast on our final morning. Angus was a great host — readily available whenever we needed anything. The cottage is also filled with incredible photographs of the Highlands taken by Angus himself, showcasing his impressive adventures and mountain climbs. They added a really personal and inspiring touch to the space. Highly recommend this place, and we're keen to return!

Loch & mountain views at spacious highland retreat

RachelRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had an incredible week staying in this spectacularly beautiful part of Scotland . The accommodation was perfect - spacious and well appointed with such a beautiful view to wake up to each morning. Would recommend the self drive boat hire from Ardnamurchan Charters, very straightforward to operate and we spent a wonderful morning on the lough, absorbing the beauty and peace of our surroundings. A visit to Sanna Bay is a must - white sand and crystal clear waters (in which we swam - chilly but exhilarating!). I cannot recommend Camusaine highly enough - our week there with friends was truly memorable 😊
