Susannah made us feel so welcome and we really enjoyed our stay at the Bothy. It was a great base to venture around central Scotland, and was incredibly private and peaceful as a place to recharge.

Excellent cottage .Very well equipped with comfortable and useful furniture. Spacious toilet with excellent facilities. Kitchen particularly good. with excellent appliances, crockery and utensils. Overall very comfortable wee place with wood stove and central heating when required. Location in a beautiful spot on the edge of Strathmore with the Angus hills behind. Ideal for those who like to enjoy a " back of beyond" area.

We had the absolute best time at this Airbnb! Pam and Barclay are the most wonderful hosts you could ever hope for—welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. The photos honestly don’t do the place justice; it’s even more beautiful in person. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed and more. It’s clear a lot of care goes into maintaining the home and making guests feel comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was going deer spotting with Barclay on our last day—such a special experience we’ll never forget! We felt so relaxed and at home that the moment we returned, we started looking at dates to book again. Highly, highly recommend!
