A lovely, cosy cottage for a break in the countryside. The home was very tastefully finished, and very cosy on both rainy and sunny days. The village has a great Indian takeaway and two pubs with good food. We used it as a base for travels and could have happily stayed much longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay - everything was great! The cottage has lots of character while providing everything you need - it had a super comfy bed, was peaceful, incredibly quiet and just what we were looking for. The welcome pack was a really nice touch, and we really enjoyed having a look around the fabulous gardens of the main house. There was a minor issue with the heating, but Alastair was incredibly quick to respond and did his utmost to resolve the problen, despite the bank holiday weekend - however the fire kept us warm and cozy and he was also able to provide us with a plug in heater. Throughout Alastair was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I also forgot something after checking out, and Alastair has kindly offered to ship it back to me, which was greatly appreciated. Definitely would stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Neil & Jim’s. Fantastic hosts with a lovely barn conversation really well done and really clean. Perfect location for hikes ect.. parkings accessible and a beautiful canal walk to the local pub just off the back of the property. Would definitely stay again 👍👍
