Vacation rentals with a kayak in Llano County

Our group had 11 people in it, we had enough walking space on the 1st floor for eveyone to visit and play games. There is a big 2nd living area with a bar set up as you walk in the front door. The kitchen was a bit tight for more than 4 people trying to cook. We cooked out 3 nights with the grill provided. 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms, the master has so much room, the bathroom has a walk in closet. A bedroom with a queen size bed & twin trundle, the bathroom off to the side that can be accessed from this room & the livingroom. From the livingroom/diningroom you can access the back yard. The stairs are a bit narrow so you do have to watch each step you take and if you have toddlers watch them. Up stairs is a bedroom with a queen size bed and 2 nightstand only and a plug in water a/c unit. It was not as cold as I would like. 2nd room was a full with a pull out and plug in a/c water unit. 3rd room has no door so there is no privacy, it has 3 twins 2 with trundles, and a stand up fan.

Perfect piece of river front property. Relaxing with the sound of the river current and birds. Lots of shade trees. This piece of river is good for swimming, kayaking and fishing. The grill was a great feature as well. Will definitely be back. These isn’t much phone service - just att - and no wifi- just be prepared

First, the house was very nice; comfortable yet clean and elegant. Second, the property is well taken care of. Our family had a wonderful and much needed relaxing time. Everything was perfect.

Diana’s place was perfect for us and our pups. Fence is completely closed in and the bbq pit was perfect for feeding the five of us. Master bathroom is spacious and very well lit. Cleanliness 10/10 in the bathroom and jut the whole house. Rooms were spacious enough and closets as well. I would recommend grabbing toilet paper and paper towels because there’s limited extras of those. The pictures are exactly like the home and the instructions to checking in and out were clear. This is my favorite stay so far!

Very comfortable home with all of the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable and view of the lake was pretty. It was fun to see deer in the neighborhood.

We had a great time. The house was nice - and we enjoyed the ping pong and the fire pit!! The kayak was great! Plenty of stuff to do and both families had lots of fun!! Highly recommend!

Amazing house on the Llano with everything you need for a fun and relaxing getaway. Perfect for families. The kids loved kayaking to the island and exploring. House was stocked with all the essentials and Aimee was super responsive and helpful! Will visit again!

Great place for family to hang out

Beautiful property! The descriptions in the summary, along with those of other guests are accurate. Stayed in cabin B, so no view of the water from the front porch, but an easy walk across the parking lot and down the path takes you into a magnificent, well-kept field with a fire pit, picnic table, and amazing views of the water. Also got to take in some fantastic star-gazing. We felt very safe and comfortable, and it was great to be able to walk across the street to the Country Store.

our first time in Castell. We rented the entire compound and enjoyed the river, the privacy, and peacefulness. The kids enjoyed kayaking and fishing. We enjoyed the fire pit area and the large BBQ pit. Owner provided wood as part of the rental which was appreciated. Cabins were well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Our family enjoyed having meals in the center covered patio with the breeze and outdoor stereo playing our streaming music. We are looking forward to coming back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. So quiet and peaceful. Even with the current drought there was still sufficient water to enjoy so time in the river fishing and playing with the family. We can’t wait to return! Tiffani was friendly, extremely responsive and flexible.

WOW!!! This place is so cool!! It is exactly as described! We throughly enjoyed ourselves!!!! There aren't too many bad reviews but the ones there are crack me up! Yes, it is a lake house, pretty much right on the water... There will be spiders out on the decks! The water level is not always the same but definitely fishable, kayakable, swimable and beautiful!!! There are A LOT of steps inside and out! It is build on the side of a hill... also should be expected!! And yes there may be a loose rock or two here and there! This place has everything you could need as far as kitchen supplies and bathroom supplies! The fact they supply so many kayaks is soooo awesome! 👏 The weather was so perfect this weekend we didn't even use the ac units, just had the windows cracked and it was so comfortable! Love that our mini dachshund was welcome and he had a blast on the kayak!!!! We will return and bring friends to enjoy it with! :)

This place was amazing! My whole family had a good time, from the little one to the teenagers. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed plus lots more. Judy has put so much thought, care, and effort in perfecting the cabin and thr amenities. We could not have asked for a better cabin, environment, or host.

We loved staying in the cabin. The place was so private and quaint. A perfect location for anyone wanting/needing to get away from it all. From playing in the river (direct access on the property), walking to the general store for a beer and burger (the friendliest people there, we felt like family), to stargazing from the teepee down by the river. The place is amazing! And just a short drive with beautiful scenery to Fredricksburg. We will definitely be back!!
