We rented this cabin on the fly (literally) my husband and I were looking for quick getaways for a much needed vacation and time away from the norm and it was my bday weekend as well. We had never heard of Burton, TX or Log Country Cabins and are both Texas natives but we are so glad that we came across it on our search and decided to give it a try. The cabin itself was just as described and looked like the photos online and the location of the cabin was amazing. The views were amazing, access to the lake and creek for fishing was just steps away from the cabin and the common area and peaceful park were just steps away too. The weather was perfect and it was not peak season so it also felt secluded and private and not too crowded which is what we were looking for! We had an amazing time disconnecting from the everyday and re connecting with each other! We enjoyed every bit of it & will be returning soon!!

Perfect, quiet, relaxing stay. This is a “mostly” off the grid kind of stay so keep that in mind if you’re a big internet user. We loved being able to actually “unplug” for a bit. Highly recommended!!

We spent Christmas at Brooke’s place and she thought of everything. The lake, water toys and beautiful sunsets were a hit with everyone. Everything was as described and ready for us! Would definitely recommend. Thank you🎄

Beautiful and peaceful location. Close to Inks Lake State Park, Kingsland, and the Perissos Winery. Great place for kids and dogs.

Absolutely stunning and peaceful. Nice getaway spot that is private but still close to a lot of things in the area. The stars at night were breathtaking. The kitties were sweet company. A must go to place if you're looking to get away for a romantic weekend. Very relaxing.

This place was way bigger than I thought looking at the photos. The jetted tub was broken, but still an amazing soak. Surely dated but I personally love that, cozy, clean with everything you’ll need. Love the outside space, quiet secluded and the bed was comfortable. There was dish TV too.

WOW!!! This place is so cool!! It is exactly as described! We throughly enjoyed ourselves!!!! There aren't too many bad reviews but the ones there are crack me up! Yes, it is a lake house, pretty much right on the water... There will be spiders out on the decks! The water level is not always the same but definitely fishable, kayakable, swimable and beautiful!!! There are A LOT of steps inside and out! It is build on the side of a hill... also should be expected!! And yes there may be a loose rock or two here and there! This place has everything you could need as far as kitchen supplies and bathroom supplies! The fact they supply so many kayaks is soooo awesome! 👏 The weather was so perfect this weekend we didn't even use the ac units, just had the windows cracked and it was so comfortable! Love that our mini dachshund was welcome and he had a blast on the kayak!!!! We will return and bring friends to enjoy it with! :)

I can’t say enough about this place. It was quiet, beautiful, peaceful. It’s def a ranch. So if that’s jets you’re looking for. Look no further. We spent hours exploring and driving around. Great host and great place.

We loved staying here. Perfect for a small group to each have space and communal areas to hang. Close to town while having the river and outdoor spaces. We would stay again.

We had a fantastic time during our stay! The cabin's location offered a stunning view and was in a great spot. We were pleased to find the cabin exceptionally clean and neat upon our arrival. The owner maintained excellent communication throughout our trip, which was incredibly helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a family getaway—it’s the perfect spot to spend quality time at the cabin.

What a wonderful, secluded cabin to escape to. Andrea was an excellent host. The cabin surroundings were quiet and full of nature. Mornings and evenings were spent watching the variety of birds around the creek and deer and cattle among the ranch grounds. I would recommend this cabin to anyone for a quiet getaway.

Wow... This property is a stand out amongany I've stayed at along the Llano River. It's a si.ple cabin situated in 100 acres; the location is very secluded... You will see more birds than people on your stay! This segment of the river is awesome; Very, very scenic. For swimming I recommend going down river (there's a nice sand beach area). The picnic table at the river's edge was my favorite coffee spot in the AM; and a great place to read... Cellphone reception is very hot/miss; but I loved it! Goes with the secluded location & helps connect to nature. In the evening you get AWESOME sunsets looking up-river; not to be missed! The only people I ever saw were on the road on the other side of the river... Very, very peaceful... The cabin itself is simple; clean and perfect- The a/c units work very well (important as we come up in summer). My trip was a fishing/get away adventure trip and it was great. Cindy was extremely responsive & very kind. I highly recommend this property! A+++

Great place for family to hang out

Beautiful property! The descriptions in the summary, along with those of other guests are accurate. Stayed in cabin B, so no view of the water from the front porch, but an easy walk across the parking lot and down the path takes you into a magnificent, well-kept field with a fire pit, picnic table, and amazing views of the water. Also got to take in some fantastic star-gazing. We felt very safe and comfortable, and it was great to be able to walk across the street to the Country Store.

We loved staying in the cabin. The place was so private and quaint. A perfect location for anyone wanting/needing to get away from it all. From playing in the river (direct access on the property), walking to the general store for a beer and burger (the friendliest people there, we felt like family), to stargazing from the teepee down by the river. The place is amazing! And just a short drive with beautiful scenery to Fredricksburg. We will definitely be back!!

Loved the cabin! Beautiful drive out there and beautiful surroundings. Very comfortable and would love to stay again.
