House vacation rentals in Lizzano in Belvedere

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

We stayed a week in the beautiful cottage of Nadia and Giacomo. We enjoyed everything very much. The location and view from the terrace is unique... The house is very clean and conveniently equipped. Giacomo gave us good excursion tips, both are very friendly. We really enjoyed the relaxing time and would be happy to come back.

We enjoyed our vacation in Jeroen's lovely house for 2 weeks. Jeroen is a very attentive, likeable host: from the videos in preparation for your stay to tips for excursions and all kinds of practical matters. The house is clean and equipped with everything. Nearby are beautiful walks. Cities like Lucca, Pisa and Florence are a bit of a drive, but well worth it. The most special thing about our stay was the place of the house. The view is really fantastic! We greatly enjoyed the garden of the view, the silence, the ever-changing skies, the church bells of the villages in the distance... We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful place. We stayed here at the tail end of our trip and it was perfect. Quiet and sparse in the best of ways. Breakfast was amazing. They walked us to a lovely place for dinner. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful views. We felt like we were the inky tourists, which was amazing after hitting all the tourists spots. We were sad to leave so soon!

Sonia was extremely helpful from start to beginning. Gave us great recommendations which ended up being some of our favourite nights! The most stunning location and beautifully kept place, with everything you could possibly need to live in. 30 mins from Florence, 1 hour from Siena and miles of beautiful scenery and wineries as far as the eye can see As a british couple in our 20’s we loved our stay here ❤️

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

A beautiful, simple, rustic but impeccably tastefully furnished, one-room cottage in idyllic grounds on the side of a magical Tuscan hillside. Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa all within easy reach if you have a car (you need a car to stay here) … And there’s even a pool!! We’ll be back!

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.

Nice house in the hills above Pistoia. It is a few degrees cooler than in the city, and you have a beautiful view. We enjoyed the chickens scratching around and the sweet cat. Also, in the evening, a lot of fireflies could be seen. Annalisa is very friendly and caring.

Cozy, well-furnished house with spa and gym, equipped with every comfort, everything manages to make even bad weather days spectacular! Andrea is always ready and available for any need, he made us spend a memorable weekend. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful surroundings and wonderful stay, the tranquility meets you. The host and his wife are super friendly and helpful people!

We felt very comfortable! The place was very clean, everything was there to have breakfast on the terrace with an incredibly great view. The kitchen is very well equipped. The communication was very good and in a few minutes we had a response. You have to visit the pizzeria in the village. The pizzas are very delicious. However, you can't get a place in the outdoor area without a reservation. But it's worth it. Very small and nice. We will be happy to come back to this great place!

We only stayed one night because we were passing through, but the guys treated us very well and the landscape is beautiful. if we ever travel to that area again, we will definitely go back. Thank you so much (also from the furry one)

What a magical, unforgettable place to stay! The home is the perfect size for two, and we felt right at home. It’s very clean with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and cooking appliances. We really enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds singing and having breakfast on the patio before making excursions to Siena, Florence, Poppi, or nearby Rufina. The neighbor’s cats also greeted us home when we returned (very lovingly!). Would absolutely love to stay again!

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

Benedetta was the perfect host! The location was perfect for us with a small park to exercise our dog and a fenced garden. There is a pastercceria a stone's throw which did excellent coffee too. We also made use of the local butcher who had some very appetising produce.

Cutigliano was a quiet and beautiful location. While we often drove 2 hours to go to major destinations, there was so much to do nearby as well. I found one of my favourite things to do was to explore the village and trials nearby. The people were wonderfully kind and the local food was amazing. Highly reccomend this location for a longer stay in italy. We live in an apartment at home, so the house felt spacious and luxurious, but at the same time, with authenticity. We got used to living with the gorgeous chruch bells across the street... everything was a joy! We stayed with a 6 month old baby which was great. If our small child was walking or crawling by themselves there are lots of stairs, some without rails which should be considered. Solange was exceptional. She was waiting outside when we arrived to help us understand how to bring in our luggage and park our car. She was quick to respond and had lots of suggestions for things nearby. Overall one of my fave trips!

The stay was wonderful. The house is clean and cozy. The house is located with a stunning view. Paolo, the owner, was very friendly. From the first moment he was always available for any question. And we received lots of recommendations for trips in the area. Highly recommend coming to this property.

My friends (group of 6) and I had a good time. The house is nice, tidy, and close to several walking trails, and the kitchen is very well stocked. The person who welcomed us was also very nice and approachable. The only inconveniences of the house are the bathrooms, which are small, and the underground room that is located from the main house; for small groups and for short stays it is perfect

The stay at Francesca's home was great. Quiet location and the house was very comfortable. The bathroom was very pleasant and the shower was very nice (unfortunately, you also encounter cramped shower areas). Francesca was a fantastic host. In particular, a few more sentences about Francesca. What a lovely host. Upon arrival, a friendly welcome with homemade cookies, fruit and local liqueur. During the stay, super quick response to messages when I asked for local tips and upon departure there was a bottle of homemade olive oil ready to take with me. In short, hospitality at a high level.

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. Such a beautiful location, quiet and private. Room was extremely clean and had everything one would need! Barbara was very friendly and helpful, responding to messages very quickly. Definitely would recommend this place
