Nancy and Sam were extremely quick to respond and always helpful. The house was just what our family needed to gather together and feel at home. The kids loved the beach and roaming the property.

This is a PERFECT place for a peaceful get-a-way for you and your partner. Home is so private due to surrounding woods. Dale and Linda are very responsive to any questions you might have. House is so cute. Has everything you need. Reasonable price. Couldn’t be happier. Will definitely return.

We are in love with this neighborhood, the kids loved having their own upstairs space, the neighbors are so welcoming and knowledgeable, the yard was perfect for our dogs, the scenery with ocean views and wildlife frolicking about it unreal, and we absolutely love Ft Bragg including the botanical gardens and bakery within a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive. We hope to be back another time!

We had a peaceful and lovely stay! The cabin was cozy and was close to many hiking and lookouts spots. Great place to get back to after a day of exploring to relax.

Gabriel’s house was awesome, we had a wonderful time. Gabriel was very responsive, since we reached an hour early he also allowed us to check in early which was very helpful since we were exhausted after our long travel. The sauna, hot tub, outdoor shower were all a bonus and we got to use them all. Our dog had an awesome time too and got to run around and play fetch in the fenced backyard. Will definitely return and recommend Gabriel’s house

We stayed @ Jaysa’s place for 3 nights with 5 adults & 1 small dog. The kitchen is nicely remodeled and is well stocked with spices, pots/pans, dishes/utensils, etc. there are 2 full baths (1 is en-suite in the twin beds room) with lots of towels, beach towels, toilet paper, body wash/shampoo/conditioner, etc. Every room had a wall mounted heater & there is a gas fireplace so even thought it was cold outside, we were very warm & comfortable inside. The jacuzzi was very nice & it was already turned on & hot when we arrived!!! I definitely recommend you check out Jaysa’s place if you’re ever in Guerneville!

This is our 5th time staying here and love it every time! We discovered new trails and sights. It is a peaceful and magical experience without the interference of technology. We will be back again next year!

Great place to stay near Elk, CA. The view from the space to the ocean is amazing. I sat at the table and worked each day while looking out at the ocean. Drove to town but could have easily walked within 5 minutes or so, and from there a easy walk down to the beach. Overall a great stay

It’s our second time staying working remote. My family was able to enjoy the coast and take a trip on the train and I was able to work without issue while hosting a few conference calls. The flat is a couple blocks from downtown proper and we were able to meet up afterward. Downtown was easy walking distance and we had no problem grabbing things and cooking back at the flat. The sunsets were beautiful to watch from the windows.

All I can say is wow, what a perfect stay we had at The Guest Nest! Kerry's place is beautiful, inside and out - spotlessly clean, well thought out, cozy and spacious. Lots of light during the day, and the fireplace kept us warm at night. The views from the windows, porches & garden are amazing, from the garden, to the grounds with the deer grazing, to the ocean. Absolutely fantastic neighborhood as well...Caspar Headlands and Caspar Beach are an easy walk, and they're both gorgeous. Last but certainly not least, Kerry was an amazing host - extremely helpful, kind and communicative. If I ever find myself in the Mendocino area again (which I hope to!), I would absolutely love to stay in The Guest Nest again, just an amazing place/host!

Love this place! Stayed here for a few weeks and couldn’t have picked a better location. Has a view of the ocean (where you can watch sunset) and is walking distance to everything in town. Quiet corner and cozy spot. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful large studio with a sitting area and balcony. The kitchen is small but well stocked and clean. We loved our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Kerry’s place in Mendocino. The location was peaceful and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was close to stunning, walkable trails with beautiful views of the ocean, birds, and unforgettable sunsets. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was truly magical. The home was cozy, clean, and well-kept, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kerry was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making the whole experience seamless. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by natural beauty, this is the perfect spot. We’d love to return in the future!

Rancho Feliz was the perfect accommodation for our family this past Thanksgiving. It gave us all a beautiful home with ample space and amenities to truly enjoy our visit. The kitchen was an absolute dream to cook in and the kids loved the hot tub during the chilly nights!

Very responsive hosts, quick to respond to and fix issues. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the hot tub, firepit and fireplace. Good for a cabin weekend with friends.

The grounds are spectacular and Heather is an awesome host! I have adult children and everyone appreciated their own space but having a main area to also hang out together. This a I hidden haven and just what our busy family needed. I also worked remotely and internet was good.

First of all, the views are breathtaking. If you are looking for a woodsy nature retreat, this is the place. The large windows allow you to appreciate the scenery even while you’re inside. All of the amenities are incredible. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and hammock, but I could see the game room and basketball hoop being just as exciting for those with children. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and cooking essentials like oil and seasoning, and the house was uncluttered and clean. If you are considering this spot, there are a few things to consider. First of all, this house is truly on a hilltop and you must drive a steep, winding road to get there. Secondly, you will see spiders. This is part of the woods experience even in the cleanest of houses, but if you are particularly scared of bugs, this might not be the spot for you. However, I want to reiterate how much I enjoyed this stay. Anjali is an incredible host and I would certainly recommend this spot.
