Vacation rentals with a kayak in Little Gasparilla Island

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Maja's place. This was our third time visiting the area and by far the nicest place we've stayed in yet. The house itself was just as advertised. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a private backyard, and the inside was spotless, modern, roomy and loaded with everything you need. The outside area was just as nice. Great oversized pool area, with plenty of seating options for lounging by (or in) the pool, or dining outside. The garage was well-stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas and even bikes for riding in the neighborhood and on the miles of bike trails that were just around the corner and ran behind the house. The house was also in a great location, with plenty of great restaurants nearby and the beautiful beaches of Boca Grande and Manasota Key just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend Maja's place to anyone looking for a beautifully maintained home in a convenient location, and would absolutely book here again.

Great location. Very peaceful with great kayaking all around. Everything inside the house was clean and had everything you needed. Would definitely stay again. Host was very responsive with great instructions.

Overall, we liked the house. The setup was great, especially for traveling with teens. There was plenty of space for us. The kitchen was pretty well set up. As I like to cook, there wasn't much missing. I do wish there would have been extra trash bags and dish washer soap. There was just enough laundry detergent and toilet paper to get through the week. The house is right off a major intersection but we had no problems getting in or out. The highway was loud, and sometimes bothered us while we were outside, but the house was quiet on the inside and we had no problems sleeping. The pool table and huge TV in the living room were great. TV's everywhere if you needed to be inside to escape the heat. The pool was lovely, and very clean. We had a minor issue while there but Jason was right on top of it. This was our first time in the area. It's not my cup of tea, but I don't regret anything about this house. It definitely made it a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Thank you so much Jason!

Amazing place to stay! We are repeat guests and can’t wait to come back AGAIN! This house has everything you need for a private get away. Close to the beach and amazing sunsets and sunrises from the upper decks. 5 stars all around. You won’t be disappointed here! Best place in North Captiva!

Very pleasant and peaceful property. I loved the place. very comfortable beds ,linens, and pillows. I used a kayak and the firepit every day I was there. Very close to the Peace river and tours. Definitely would recommend to friends and I'll be back.

Amy is a terrific host and always on hand with local suggestions, additionally to the comprehensive package at the property. The property itself is in an amazing location, with just a 60 second walk to the beach and bath like sea! To help, Amy provides all the kit needed for the beach with chairs, parasols and towels easily to hand. The kitchen is great with all cooking implements you need and the living room has a massive TV with all the required streaming services logged in. I would definitely recommend Amy as a host!

This is a beautiful home. Well appointed and well maintained. Everything was spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! The host thought of almost everything. Kayaks, bicycles, pool towels, etc. My only recommendations for improvement would be facial tissues and fans for sleeping. That’s it! That’s all I could think of.

This was such a pleasant surprise! The property was brand new and offered every amenity we could want. ( loved the USB outlets strategically placed, well done and often not seen) The neighborhood was quiet and it really was a short walk to the beach, made easy with the available beach cart. This may be my first ever review after all my stays at airbnb's as it certainly deserves it. Jenn & Eddie were easy to communicate with and the vibe all around was fantastic. Wow! We loved this house. Great outdoor seating, loved watching the boats come and go. Pool and hot tub were fantastic. Great flat grill for dinners at home. Good restaurant options in the area. Cape Coral is close to so much, but away from traffic. Loads of windows and natural light. Very clean. Highly recommend.

Thomas’s Captiva home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! It had everything imaginable to make our stay a huge success. The kids loved all the wildlife, the large selection of beach toys, books, toys, and games. The beach itself was stunning, and it was never busy or crowded like all other beaches we have been to. A truly beautiful and relaxing experience for the whole family. Highly recommend!!

An absolute beautiful home! Kayaking on the lake was definitely a core memory for the kids. Having a ping pong table in the garage was a real life saver for us since it rained nearly everyday we were there. Sometimes the rain would stop at night which was wonderful because then we got to enjoy the hot tube. The only things that could use improvement are the primary bedroom curtains and better pillows other than that this home is absolutely perfect!

This is a great Airbnb for a long weekend at the beach. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay, including beach chairs, plenty of beach towels, a backpack cooler, and an outdoor shower. The kitchen, bath, and linens were spotless, and there is a washer/dryer available if you need it. There are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We were able to launch the kayaks down the street and watch the dolphins. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway for two, don't hesitate to book this place!
