Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Les Mathes

A dreamlike house in the idyll of west France! We had a wonderful time as a family in the beautiful house Colibri in Médis. We are very thankful for Hélène and Delphine being warmly welcoming to us and tremendously friendly, uncomplicated and extremely helpful. This is a wonderful house and location. Secluded, atmospheric, and with a feeling of home.

The accommodation is as described: large living room, kitchen equipped for our group of friends (7 people). The spa is very good, clean. Hosts provide outdoor garden furniture, parasols and deckchairs for moments of relaxation and conviviality. Charlotte is very responsive and friendly. Thank you for this stay and happy hosting.

Carole's accommodation matches the descriptions, it is very nice, bright, well decorated and perfectly equipped. The outdoor space is very nice - a great place for children. Very easy to get around from the accommodation, it is +- 15 minutes' walk from the village center. In addition, a butcher shop and bakery are a 5-minute walk away. The particularly warm welcome of the hosts and their discretion during the stay is also noteworthy. I highly recommend this listing!

We stayed at Thierry's for a week in May. Thierry responded very kindly and uncomplicated to the fact that our arrival was delayed more and more. He welcomed us very nicely and gave us many tips. You can see from the house that Thierry is a flea market fan, we thought that gives the house character, it is really unique. It is quiet, a lot of nature around, the frogs croak their concert, at night the nightingales sing. The large, slightly overgrown garden (we like it) was fenced in so that our dog could go in and out of the house as he pleased. The area is pleasantly not overcrowded with tourists, yet there were opportunities to do something. Small tip: do not stay in the caravan if you are taller than about 180 cm (we are a little smaller, so it worked well). Thank you Thierry, we hope to come back!

Very spacious and well-appointed house, large and enclosed exterior (perfect with dogs) and a big plus with the heated swimming pool. Very well located for exploring the island and appreciable walking distance to the beach. Nelly's great flexibility on check-in and check-out times with responsive response. Some equipment could do with being repaired or replaced so that everything is perfect. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a very nice week in a quiet and relaxing setting. The accommodation is tastefully furnished and decorated, as is the beautiful garden, which also contributes to feeling good. It's a real haven of peace that has a soul. Marthe and Lionel are very welcoming hosts, present while being very discreet. We really recommend stopping there

As advertised, the staircase is "steep"😉. You have to hold on tight to go down. The accommodation is very clean, very well-equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, traditional oven, Nespresso coffee machine), and has large volumes, which is an asset for a vacation, where everyone needs space in a family of 2 parents and 2 young children. Shops are nearby, the supermarket is accessible by car in 10 minutes. Privately, we gave our host some suggestions for improvement, but it's very personal, everyone has their own lifestyle. Thank you for a great family vacation. We recommend it.

Perfect accommodation for our short stopover in the region for the weekend! The cottage is pleasant and well-equipped and the welcome by one of the team members was very warm I would recommend it!

We had a great week in Régine and François's beautiful apartment, offering panoramic views to the ocean. The terrace, spacious and very pleasant, was a real plus to fully enjoy this grandiose view. The apartment is impeccably clean and of exceptional quality, perfectly equipped. Nothing is missing, everything has been thought out for our comfort. Régine and François are friendly, welcoming, and very responsive hosts, both before and during our stay. They were also very accommodating, and their little touches upon arrival touched us a lot. The location of the apartment is ideal: in a quiet area facing the sea, with direct access to a superb beach. The city center, with its restaurants and shops, is just a 10-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride. Soulac is a charming and beautiful town. A big thank you to Régine and François! We had a very pleasant week despite the unpredictable weather. Activities nearby for every interest House well suited to our multi-generation family. The 3 bathrooms are a real highlight. Fabrice was very nice and responsive to each of our requests. Thank you!!

Beautiful place located a short walk from the beach of Plaisance! A great sandy beach to enjoy pleasant moments! We found in Romain's house and his companion everything we expected: the calm of a large garden under the pine trees, a house in which we knew right away that our stay would be great, the characteristic smells of the seaside...!!! Finally, Romain is very responsive, attentive, and will be good advice to tell you where to treat! Really a great week, we will come back without a problem!!! Very nice location, very quiet. Beautiful setting and the pool is great!

The house is beautiful as well as the view from the garden and located in a lovely village with an excellent butcher, baker and a market once a week. Aurelie and Franck are very welcoming. They surprised us with a bottle of the local white whine that was delicious and were very accommodating. We had a great time in Breuillet which is a 15 min drive from the nearest beaches. Strongly recommend!

Very nice house, pleasant, comfortable, well decorated and well equipped. The outside is as beautiful as the inside. Very friendly welcome from Estelle, which doesn't spoil anything. Remote village but not far from the beaches and La Rochelle. I recommend it.

A beautiful beachfront location. A very beautiful family house, tastefully decorated, welcoming and in a peaceful place. We did a lot of walking, in the center of Fouras, within walking distance. You can go to the island of Aix by taking the boat on foot. The weather was nice. Good memories.

Very good stay at Françoise's place, which corresponded in every way to the descriptions. Very nice welcome from Floriane who was very friendly and available. We will be sure to return to Françoise's during a possible stay on the Ile d'Oléron
