Monthly Rentals in Leisure Island

Maria made us feel right at home. The place is incredible, and the furniture is equally impressive. We mostly followed the recommendations they gave us. The house is situated in a very safe area, just a 5-minute walk from a restaurant and a coffee shop. The beach is just a 10-minute walk away. It’s the perfect place to stay with a baby. We used the barbecue and beach chairs. Knysna is an ideal break on the Garden Route. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is big with lots of entertaining areas. We were inside for 3 days with terrible weather and the kids didn’t get bored or restless. Each room boasts isolation and privacy from the other rooms, so perfect for couples sharing or parents wanting a retreat while the kids stay on the other side of the house. Lots of comfortable outdoor and indoor seating areas and a big kitchen with everything you could need including air fryer, Nespresso machine, a huge fridge and washer and dryer. We used the fireplace during the storm and the rooms were fitted with gas heaters. Gael was attentive and kind, leaving directions for our check in since she couldn’t meet us and stopped by the next morning to check in. Some minor maintenance issues but nothing that would hinder a short stay. House also has solar and an inverter for loadshedding though we didn’t have any. Overall a wonderful visit and will definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay on Leisure Isle. The house is well equipped and ideally located! The host, Elma, is great. She went out of her way to provide us with a wonderful stay! She continuously checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! The property comes with loads of sporting equipment for visitors to use. This makes it extra fun for kids! I can strongly recommend this property for anyone looking to visit Leisure Isle and Knysna. Thanks Elma for making our stay so memorable!

Comfortable, peaceful family home that is perfect for relaxing on Leisure Isle. The house is generous in its amenities and little luxuries that provide a homely feel. Quiet street and a short walk to both shops and the seafront. David was very helpful and thoughtful.
